Career
[edit]She auditioned for the 2023 edition of Big Brother in 2022,[2] because she thought that it "seemed like a lot of fun", and wanted to "take on another adventure".[3][1] She participated in an episode of the game show The 1% Club in February 2023.[4][5] She participated in Big Brother in October 2023, placing fourth in the live final.[6]
Huang's appearance on The 1% Club was teased on the show's X (formerly Twitter) on May 20, 2024, before the episode's broadcast on ITV five days later.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Huang was born in Shanghai, China, and speaks Chinese and English.[7] She moved to Manchester, England in 2021, and currently lives in the civil parish of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.[3]
Huang met her husband Luke after moving to the UK.[8] In August 2024, Luke proposed to Huang in Chinese while pretending to be recording a TikTok dance.[9]
