There are a number of features that are in this county and are not in the San Joaquin Valley. Sequoia National Park and parts of Kings Canyon National Park are certainly not in the valley. Currently 62 articles us the template {{TulareCountyCA-geo-stub}}.

This is more of a follow-up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina split. I found this article which documents the municipalities of Republika Srpska, and divides them into 7 regions. Proposing templates for the municipalities, with region-level parent-only categories to follow if they fill up. Many of these articles will pull out of the overlage Category:Bosnia and Herzegovina geography stubs.

Certainly no problems aith this solution, though I think some of the templates could do with disambig, certainly NoviGrad, Pale and maybe others. Might be an idea to check which have other places named the same before creating, Waacstats (talk) 15:34, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Dominicans

Um no. Certainly not under that name, anyway. Are these monks, people from Dominica, or people from the Dominican Republic? If it's the first, it seems an unlikely split - we don't split people by their religion unless their fame is directly associated with it (e.g., priests, missionaries). The other two would be at {{Dominica-poet-stub}} and {{DominicanRepublic-poet-stub}} respectively, and would simply be upmerged into Category:Dominica stubs and Category:Caribbean writer stubs, and Category:Dominican Republic people stubs and Category:Caribbean writer stubs respectively. And at the moment, I'm far from convinced we really have enough stubs on poets from either to really warrant it - we don't even have enough stubs for a general Dominica people stub category yet! looks like de upmerging three templates may help to bring this down a little

It may take an expert on this region to sort out what is going on as we seem to have templates by canton, region, district and municipality here. Waacstats (talk) 23:23, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

According to Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are two major divisions of BiH. There is the Federation of BiH, with its 10 cantons, and the Republika Srpska.
Then there is Brčko District which is formally part of both. Maybe a little like Washington D.C. is to the US states? I apologize if that analogy is completely wrong or insensitive, but it helps me grasp the concept.
So, its accurate to have both Canton and District categories, although maybe it would be appropriate to create a Category:Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina geography stubs category to house the 10 cantons.
As for the regions, I don't see documentation of an accepted breakdown of Republika Srpska, beyond just the municipalities. And the two current Region subcategories are filled with redlinks.
Propose creating the following:
This proposal clears out the two region categoreis, placing their articles in the Republika Srpska subcategory. If we want to keep the two region subcategories, then just place them intact under the Republika Srpska category. Dawynn (talk) 18:27, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

I have checked wikipedia, and there are a staggering amount of red dwarf articles. There may not be as much as 60. However, i have listed a lot of red dwarf stubs with the name "Gliese" (Some of these pages may lead to main-sequence stars. However, they are all still type K of M.

No problem for a template upmerged to Category:Star stubs which, at nearly 700 articles is pretty big (CatScan gives 31). But should it not be at {{Reddwarf-star-stub}} or {{RedDwarf-star-stub}} (similar to {{Subdwarf-star-stub}} and {{Supergiant-star-stub}})? SeveroTC 10:32, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Here's a problem though, the red dwarf wiki category hasn't even been created, and stub types need a parent category. I'll create the template when the category is created. Clammybells (talk) 10:53, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Stub templates must be in a stub category, but not necessarily their own category - in this case it would be in Category:Star stubs. We call this "upmerging" - the stub template exists, and when it reaches a set size (the threshold - 60) it can have it's own stub category. We do usually follow the permanent categories - in this case Category:Red dwarf stars, so there's nor problem there. SeveroTC 11:07, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Support an upmerged template at {{Reddwarf-star-stub}}. The propsed (actually, the created) name is wrong, and the permcat uses a lower case "d". Since when was the period for discussion of proposals before template creation nine minutes? That would be very fast even for a speediable type (which this one isn't). I know this has been suggested before, but nothing seems to have been done about it. I've just sorted through the trail stubs and discovered several which were about hiking overall, rather than individual trails. There should probably be a stub for outdoor pursuits in general, which can encompass several existing or not-yet-existing stub types (e.g., orienteering, hiking, mountaineering, camping). There would probably be enough stubs overall for a category,e specially considering that there are some natural subcategories already around. The natural permcat par ent seems to be Category:Outdoor recreation. Grutness...wha? 11:26, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

I see two articles for this country under Category:Association football club stubs. Even though there may be few articles, I'd propose the upmerge template so that we can move this around as needed, depending on where the powers that be (e.g., FIFA) decide Greenland should end up. Currently, Greenland does not have a presence in any FIFA organizations. Propose building the template, and upmerging to Category:Association football club stubs for now. Category:Soviet sport stubs also to take {{USSR-footy-competition-stub}}. The new bio template will take around 80 articles currently tagged as {{USSR-bio-stub}} and to tidy up the various other sport bio templates and cats. SeveroTC 06:39, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
