Nominating featured lists in Wikipedia

This star, with one point broken, symbolizes the featured candidates on Wikipedia.

Welcome to featured list candidates! Here, we determine which lists are of a good enough quality to be featured lists (FLs). Featured lists exemplify Wikipedia's very best work and must satisfy the featured list criteria.

Before nominating a list, nominators may wish to receive feedback by listing it at peer review. This process is not a substitute for peer review. Nominators must be sufficiently familiar with the subject matter and sources to deal with objections during the featured list candidate (FLC) process. Those who are not significant contributors to the list should consult regular editors of the list before nomination. Nominators are expected to respond positively to constructive criticism and to make an effort to address objections promptly.

A list should not be listed at featured list candidates and another review process at the same time. Nominators who have previously successfully nominated a list may have two concurrent featured list nominations only if the first active nomination has gained substantial support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed.

The featured list director, Giants2008, or his delegates, PresN and Hey man im josh, determine the timing of the process for each nomination. Each nomination will typically last at least twenty days, but may last longer if changes are ongoing or insufficient discussion or analysis has occurred. For a nomination to be promoted to FL status, consensus must be reached that it meets the criteria. The directors determine whether there is consensus. A nomination will be removed from the list and archived if, in the judgment of the director who considers a nomination and its reviews:

• actionable objections have not been resolved in a timely manner; or
• consensus for promotion has not been reached after significant time; or
• reviewers are unable to judge whether the criteria have been met.

It is assumed that all nominations have good qualities; this is why the process focuses on finding and resolving problems in relation to the criteria, rather than asserting the positives. Declarations of support are not as important as finding and resolving issues, and the process is not simply vote-counting.

Once the director or a delegate has decided to close a nomination, they will do so on the nominations page. A bot will update the list talk page after the list is promoted or the nomination archived, typically within the day, and the FLC template should remain on the talk page until the bot updates or adds the Article history template. If a nomination is archived, the nominator should take adequate time to resolve issues before re-nominating.

Hey y'all, mammal list #80 in our perpetual concluded series, the final capstone of it all: Mammalia itself! This is it, this is the end of 6.5 years of nominations and over 6,000 furry little (and not so little) species. Our family lists were list of species, our order lists were lists of genera, and this final class list is a list of the 163 mammal families on this planet (including 11 families totaling 30 species that were too small and had orders too small to get a sublist). This has been a long time coming, so we're going out strong- every family has a picture and a map (a good chunk of which I made over the last few months), so you've got lots to look at. As always, the list reflects the scientific consensus as well as the results of prior FLCs. I hope you've all enjoyed these lists over the last few years as much as I've enjoyed making them. Thanks for reviewing, both this list and the 79 prior! --PresN 18:10, 1 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Dank

[edit]
• See my previous review (the rodentia list) for what I'm not focusing on (and I should mention, I also don't pay a lot of attention to links).
• "It comprises 6,121 extant species, which are grouped into 163 families, themselves grouped into 27 orders in 3 major divisions. These orders can contain between one and thousands of species, grouped into genera and then into families.": Just a suggestion: "It comprises 6,121 extant species, which are grouped into 1,308 genera in 163 families, themselves grouped into 27 orders in 3 major divisions. These orders can contain between one and thousands of species."
• "in that genera": Maybe: "in those genera"
• Just a suggestion, since it's a matter of taste which words the lead is supposed to repeat or summarize, but: the third sentence in the Classification section feels repetitive with the lead, to me, in part because it's not very far from the lead. - Dank (push to talk) 22:05, 1 October 2026 (UTC)reply
• "Diets: ... and small vertebrates (excluding humans)": Maybe: "Diets of non-human primates: ... and small vertebrates" - Dank (push to talk) 22:44, 1 October 2026 (UTC)reply
• Standard disclaimer: I don't know what I'm doing, and I mostly AGF on sourcing.
• Checking the FLC criteria:
• 1. Nothing else is jumping out at me as a prose problem. There were no sortable nonnumeric columns. I sampled the table links.
• 2. The lead meets WP:LEAD and defines the inclusion criteria.
• 3a. The list has comprehensive items and annotations.
• 3c. The list meets requirements as a stand-alone list, it isn't a content fork, and it doesn't largely duplicate another article (that I can find).
• 4. It is navigable.
• 5. It meets style requirements.
• 6. It is stable. - Dank (push to talk) 23:13, 1 October 2026 (UTC)reply
All done, with the exception of the Classification section, as I couldn't think of a way to further differentiate it from the lede wording.
Thanks, looks good, but any thoughts on "Diets: Fruit and leaves, as well as other vegetation, insects, and small vertebrates (excluding humans)"? Another fix might be "Diets (excluding humans): ...". - Dank (push to talk) 13:25, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
@Dank: Well, the Diets: is from the template, so that's difficult to change; I could make it "Diets: (Excluding humans) fruit and leaves, as well as other vegetation, insects, and small vertebrates", but I think it's better to have the parenthetical at the end. --PresN 13:55, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
[edit]

The Internet Archive is temporarily down, so for the relatively few photos that rely on that link, I considered the number and quality and date of Wikipedia pages (in any language) that have hosted the image.

@Dank:Fixed the first and replaced the second with a different gopher. Thanks for reviewing! --PresN 13:06, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply

[edit]

Wow, what a milestone. Do you need more of an in-depth image review than what Dank already did?

• Why "these orders can contain" rather than just "orders contain"?
• I ran AWB on this list and removed some hanging whitespace, also replaced Animal genera table/end templates with the equivalent End template.
• There are a lot of reused links, but I struggled to find places where it would make sense to remove them - maybe the reuse of Didelphimorphia under both subheadings Infraclass Marsupialia and Didelphimorphia (and the same for Dasyuromorphia? In those cases I don't know which link is less helpful.
• Lipotidae says "Baiji pictured" but there is no picture
• Looking for consistency:
• Cricetidae (New World rat or mouse)
• Heteromyidae (kangaroo rat or pocket mouse)
• Nesomyidae (African or Malagasy rat or mouse)
• compared to
• Muridae (Old World mouse or rat)
• Probably easiest to change the last one here.
• "Plus a minute tail" - seems out of place, is it impossible to measure?

That's all from me. -- Reconrabbit (talk) 18:53, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply

@Reconrabbit: Removed the "can"; dropped the Didelphimorphia link (breaks consistency which I want because people will be jumping straight to an order more than most lists, but that one is directly next to the bluelink before it in Infraclass Marsupialia); whoops, a bot removed the image, so now replaced; swapped to "rat or mouse"; changed to "0–1 cm", which is what's in that bat list. Thanks for reviewing! --PresN 19:05, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
Awesome!! Are there no other images that would be a suitable representative for the baiji? There's this preserved specimen: File:Specimen of a Baiji Dolphin, Museum of Hydrobiological Sciences, Wuhan Institute of Hydrobiology (1).jpg but I don't love it. There's also a stamp from Romania: File:Baiji-Lipotes-vexillifer.jpg -- Reconrabbit (talk) 19:43, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Gerard Way is most famous for being the lead singer of the rock band My Chemical Romance, which is probably one of the most famous rock bands from the 2000s. However, his solo discography—which this list is focused on—is also quite interesting (to me at least). In the brief span between My Chemical Romance's 2013 breakup and 2019 reunion, he released one full album, and a lot of singles of varying styles, ranging from Britpop and shoegaze, to his former band's rock roots, to collaborating with artists like Deadmau5. He stopped releasing solo music in 2020, not long after MCR reunited, but I still think his discography is really interesting and holds some hidden gems of sorts (even if it's nothing compared to what he made with MCR).

Anyways, this discography is extremely short. He only made one album, ten main singles, one promotional single, and appeared on a couple of other things here and there. I modeled it after many other featured discography articles, and it was pretty easy to work on all things considered. And now, I believe it meets the featured list criteria. This is also my first featured list nomination and I'm open to receiving any and all feedback. λ NegativeMP1 21:22, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• I'll do a full review soon, but one thing that jumps out is that "seventies and eighties acts such as Pulp, Blur....." reads a bit oddly given that Blur didn't release their debut album until 1991 and while it's true that Pulp were active in the 1980s, they did not experience any success until 1994..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:39, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
You're right. And as a matter of fact I don't even see the "seventies and eighties" part at all in the source. I saw it in a source but it's not the one that verifies Blur and Pulp. I probably got something mixed up. I've axed the decades descriptor. λ NegativeMP1 07:47, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Extant megaherbivores are large mammalian herbivores that weigh over a ton when fully grown. These massive beasts are important to their environment, but unfortunately, just like their predecessors, they are too starting to dissappear. The reason this list only includes extant species is because over the course of evolution there has been thousands of megaherbivore species, from sauropod dinosaurs to woolly mammoths. Plus, the author who coined this term dedicated a whole book to these magnificent beasts! I believe the article meets the criteria and is indeed ready. Over to you now. Lead
• "They have selected slow reproduction to enhance..." --> "Selected" implies a conscious decision. Recommend a different choice or word or phrase.
• "A Their large size offers protection from predators..."
List
• African bush elephant – "...of the family Elephantidae, in of which it is the largest member"
• Asian elephant – As written, the Asian elephant is the second-largest elephant native to the Indian subcontinent. Which elephant species native to the Indian subcontinent is larger?
• African forest elephant – "The African forest elephant is the smallest species of elephant and is one of two species of African elephants, the other being the African bush elephant." --> Unnecessary.
• White rhinoceros – "it has two horns; a smaller back horn and a larger front horn, which can grow up to 101 cm (40 in)." --> As written, both horns can grow up to 101cm. Is this correct?
• Indian rhinoceros – As written, the Indian rhinoceros is the second-largest rhinoceros in India; which rhinoceros in India is larger?
• Javan rhinoceros – "Only bulls have horns that grow up to 27 cm (11 in)." --> As written, only bulls have horns that grow up to 27cm, but cows have horns that don't grow up to 27cm. Do females have horns?
• I agree with PresN that this article should match Wikipedia's giraffe article with eight different species.

User:Wolverine X-eye: Despite your smart comment above, I have done a full review. Please let me know when you've had a chance to examine my comments. Bgsu98 (Talk) 13:57, 29 September 2026 (UTC)reply

@Bgsu98: Addressed most of your comments, except your final request which I cannot complete for the following reasons:
1. PresN actually suggested that I should state which classification system I use, either the 4-species one which the giraffe article mostly follows or the single species one of the IUCN. I chose the latter, and indicated so in a note.
2. The giraffe article doesn't only list a 4-species taxonomy, but an 8- and 3-species one as well. Some of these animals are classified as species in one taxonomy system and a subspecies in another. Clearly there is controversy surrounding giraffe taxonomy, so sticking with a single species is the best option for now. Wolverine X-eye (talk) 17:45, 29 September 2026 (UTC)reply
On second thought, perhaps it would be wise to increase the table to include the four species. Yeah, I changed my mind. Will begin working now. Wolverine X-eye (talk) 18:11, 29 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Bgsu98: OK. Completed everything. Wolverine X-eye (talk) 21:03, 29 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• There is nothing about the first image of the giraffe to clarify what species it is. However, I will let User:PresN chime in on that. I'm guessing it's probably fine, but the source photo should have a better description than "adult giraffes". Images do have appropriate alt-text. That being said, I'm happy to support this now. Bgsu98 (Talk) 21:14, 29 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Updated the description on the image page; fortunately for the 4-species model, you can tell the species based on nothing but the spot pattern, but the description should be explicit (and now is). --PresN 21:39, 29 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Nice! Glad we have a definition for this now, I vaguely recall the megafauna list getting deleted way back because no one could agree on the definition of such. What classification scheme does this use? I think you'll need to be specific in the list itself, because while you have giraffe as a single species, which the IUCN still follows, the ASM has it as four species, which our Giraffe article follows (mostly) while also showing an 8-species version. I'm also presuming that you also don't have the Sumatran rhinoceros because it's slightly too small, but wanted to double-check; if so, it may be worth mentioning in the lede that there are other rhino species (that and the pygmy rhino) that are in the same family as the megafauna rhinos but are too small to count.

Well, while I'm here:

• Tables need captions, which allow screen reader software to jump straight to named tables without having to read out all of the text before it each time. Visual captions can be added by putting |+ caption_text as the first line of the table code; if that caption would duplicate a nearby section header, you can make it screen-reader-only by putting |+ caption_text instead.
• Tables need column scopes for all column header cells, which in combination with row scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Column scopes can be added by adding !scope=col to each header cell, e.g. ! Weight becomes !scope=col | Weight. If the cell spans multiple columns with a colspan, then use !scope=colgroup instead.
• Tables need row scopes on the "primary" column for each row, which in combination with column scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Row scopes can be added by adding !scope=row to each primary cell, e.g. | African bush elephant (Loxodonta africana) becomes !scope=row | African bush elephant (Loxodonta africana). (Also, maybe consider putting a <br/> between the common and scientific name just to force it to always be it's own line.) If the cell spans multiple rows with a rowspan, then use !scope=rowgroup instead.
• Please see MOS:DTAB for example table code if this isn't clear. I don't return to these reviews until the nomination is ready to close, so ping me if you have any questions. This is not a full review, and does not result in a support vote. --PresN 13:11, 28 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@PresN: How should I be specific about the classification system? Should I add a note, citation or sentence? Wolverine X-eye (talk) 16:42, 28 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Sentence or note; I went with a sentence in my lists ("The following classification is based on the taxonomy described by the reference work Mammal Species of the World (2005), with augmentation by generally accepted proposals made since using molecular phylogenetic analysis, as supported by both the IUCN SSC Bat Specialist Group and the American Society of Mammalogists.[2][3][6]" in list of chiropterans, for example). --PresN 22:22, 28 September 2026 (UTC)reply

I am nearly complete in my quest to bring all the List of Mexican State Municipalities to the same high quality standards. It has a standardized format that now includes 66 (!!) lists of municipalities all around the world. Inspired by these real encyclopedias with consistent formatting and high standard, and whichever user started this format by creating this standard on the California page. • In 1977, it was compiled based on a combination of sales and airplay data sourced from surveys of retail outlets and playlists submitted by radio stations respectively. A comma is missing somewhere
• ABBA is also one of the most commercially successful acts of all time worldwide,[11] but the single week which the Swedish group spent atop the chart with "Dancing Queen" was its only appearance at number one in the United States.[12] ABBA is a group so change "its" to "their"
• In American English, group names are treated as singular. See, for example, this American source, which says "A little more than 50 years ago, Led Zeppelin released its sixth album" not "A little more than 50 years ago, Led Zeppelin released their sixth album"

That's all I have, interesting stuff. I may as well give some of these hits a try to get a glimpse into what the taste was like back then. And if you have spare time, I'll appreciate a review of my nomination here. Best, Wolverine X-eye (talk) 06:49, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• Chris, just a general point, I'll probably stick this in a disclaimer ... if I think something's worth saying about prose, I'll say it, but if my observations ever detract from your writing experience, let me know. It's quite common for people in general to become more hesitant in writing or speaking if they know that people are going to be pawing over their words, and that's a bad thing in a culture like the Wikipedia community, where we depend on people who don't feel hesitant. So ... if you're ever having a negative reaction, check your gut and let me know.
• Having said that ...
• "neither Murphy or Dees achieved": you may (or may not) want to consider "neither act achieved". About "nor", Merriam-Webster.com says: "Although use with or is neither archaic nor wrong, neither is usually followed by nor." If you like other dictionaries, you may want to see what they say. Personally, I agree with you that "neither ... or" is so common these days that I usually don't give it a second thought, but be aware that there are plenty of people who do give it a second thought. Sometimes the way I deal with tedious grammar issues is just to rewrite and avoid them entirely. - Dank (push to talk) 17:14, 22 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Standard disclaimer: I don't know what I'm doing, and I mostly AGF on sourcing.
• Checking the FLC criteria:
• 1. Nothing else is jumping out at me as a prose problem. I checked sorting on all sortable nonnumeric columns and sampled the table links.
I don't see an image-license problem.
• 6. It is stable.
• Support, provisional on a clean source review. Well done. - Dank (push to talk) 19:35, 22 September 2026 (UTC)reply

I am nominating this for featured list because of my significant expansion of Jane Remover's discography in general. I significantly extended the lead and made sure each item on their discography is cited with a reliable citation. My main motivation for this is because I'm a JR fan and that all of her album articles and single articles (excluding "Dancing with Your Eyes Closed" (future nom) and "Dreamflasher") so far are in GA-status.
•  Done
• Tables need column scopes for all column header cells, which in combination with row scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Column scopes can be added by adding !scope=col to each header cell, e.g. ! Song becomes !scope=col | Song. If the cell spans multiple columns with a colspan, then use !scope=colgroup instead.

• Tables need row scopes on the "primary" column for each row, which in combination with column scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. • "They[a] released three studio albums under their main name" => "They[a] have released three studio albums under their main name" (unless they don't plan to ever release any more)
• "From Frailty onward" - it would be better to say "since [date]", as "From Frailty onwards", with no further context, doesn't really help the reader
• "In early 2020, Remover began creating digicore music[2] and released " => "Remover began creating digicore music[2] in early 2020 and released "
• "Initially under the Dltzk name, they worked on their debut EP" - why "initially"? Was it eventually released under a different name?
• "On November 12, 2021, Remover's debut studio album Frailty" - second debut album?
• "On February 14, 2025, under the alias Venturing, they released their debut album Ghostholding" - third debut album? Regardless of name, an artist can't really have multiple debut albums, so in each case I would instead say "first album under the name [whatever]"
• "During that period, they began working on their second studio album Census Designated" - not their second album
• "In August 2025, Remover released the mixtape Indie Rock" - title should be in italics
• "before being removed quickly after its release" => "before it was removed quickly after its release"
• Frailty is listed in the "as Jane Remover" table but I am pretty sure that earlier you said it was released under the name Ditzk......?

• 10 (Frailty was listed as Dltzk before and that's true, and I made sure it was released under that as Dltzk in the lead. However, it's a precedent name of Jane Remover and the album's article especially lists under Jane Remover. If it wasn't, then it's considered deadnaming.) -

Cathodography

[edit]
• (Pardon for my possibly dismissive tone, but) I think it's indispensable to comment that this reads more of a summary of Jane Remover's whole career than what I would consider appropriate for the standards of FL discographies. The amount of album-specific detail is unusually detailed and does not seem useful for the purpose of this article. I would argue that the genre transitions may be relevant, but much of the information go considerably beyond that. The third paragraph, for example, includes They recorded the album in the span of six to seven months.[15][16] Remover intended for it to sound pixelated and noisy,[2] and its sound was inspired by video game soundtracks.[10][2] and it is a concept album that takes place over the course of one night,[24][25] based on themes of desperation, isolation, and rejection.[26] Given that Jane Remover's career spans only 6 years, the four full paragraphs of career and album history seem disproportionate for a discography article, since that is the limit for lead paragraphs. Many of the information here could simply be moved to Jane Remover, either into the lead or into the relevant sections of the main article. I would like to see this issue addressed before, maybe, I proceed with a more detailed review of the article's remaining content. Cattos💭 00:23, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Cathodography Noting from you, I have improved on making the lead shorter and consistent while still showing a bit of context such as its musical style. With better organization, I moved sentences about Remover's other projects to the last paragraph, making Remover's main discography consistent. - RTSthestardust (talk) 01:15, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• American musician Jane Remover has released nine studio albums, one mixtape, five extended plays, thirty singles (including seven as a featured artist), six music videos, and eight remixes. Would it be better to clarify this with the additional "across their various aliases" or "under the names Jane Remover, Leroy, and Venturing"?
• Additionally, two of their extended plays and five of their singles were released as Venturing. What's the significance of specifying these figures here?
• Since 2021, all of their music as Jane Remover has been released via DeadAir Records. Teen Week is self-released (and, if you consider, Indie Rock is too self-released).
• Wouldn't No Words, Just a Picture of Me technically be their debut EP?
• The significance of the alias High Zoey isn't mentioned anywhere else.
• unlink DeadAir Records on the second occurrence (and refer to it simply as DeadAir)
• After retiring the Dltzk pseudonym in 2022 This wording would make it seem that Census Designated is the debut album under the Jane Remover alias, when the article Frailty (Jane Remover album) attributes the release to Jane Remover instead of dlktz. The Fader source claims that "dltzk has officially changed their stage name to Jane Remover". You did mention deadnaming in this discussion, so I think it would be useful to briefly acknowledge the context of Jane's coming out as a trans woman.
• The fourth paragraph contains three very close instances of the word "pseudonym".
• Following the Dariacore trilogy,[21] Why is there a citation for this?
• and indie rock[27] influences.[24] same issue
• The prose doesn't mention any chart performance for the albums, most notably NACC, which appears to be the only album to have charted.
• That's all! I weakly dislike the separate paragraph regarding side projects, as I'm more of a fan of putting things in a chronological structure, but I suppose this is more of a stylistic choice so I'm not going to insist on it. Cattos💭 02:27, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• Clarified issue 1
• Removed the line from issue 2
• Clarified issue 3 with "most of Remover's work" instead
• Removed any mention of High Zoey from issues 4-5
• Unliked DeadAir on issue 6
• Replaced with "After coming out as a trans woman", also using the Pitchfork Frailty review *citation instead, on issue 7.
• "pseudonyms" now only mentioned one on issue 8
• Moved back to Dariacore 3: was mainly to cite it just in case, for issue 9.
• Fixed citation problems on issue 10.
• Added NACC performances on final part of the last paragraph for issue 11. -

List #5 of the Ukrainian monuments of national significance series. Donetsk Oblast, geographically part of the steppe, was inhabited by nomadic peoples for much of its history, so it is not particularly rich in historic sites (just like the previously nominated Mykolaiv Oblast), though the Holy Mountains Lavra stands out. While the region's industrial heritage is apparent, all such monuments are designated as locally significant. The factual number of monuments is shrinking as I write this due to the ongoing war, but this makes this list only more relevant. The structure follows the previous FLs and I recommend looking through the Q&A. Thank you in advance for reviewing. Shwabb1 ⟨taco⟩ 19:27, 15 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• That's what it says on the register. Unfortunately, it never explains the dates, so I'll have to look for additional sources that could provide some reasoning. My guess is that the site has two distinct archaeological layers, the later one probably being the Kievan Rus' era. Shwabb1 ⟨taco⟩ 15:42, 17 September 2026 (UTC)reply
As expected, it is difficult to find anything on the Internet about it, but I did find this source (does not look very reliable, but at least it seems the author knows what he is talking about). It divides the history of the site into four eras: 5th–8th centuries (Penkovka culture), 8th–9th c. (Saltiv culture), 11th–13th c. (descendants of Bulgars and Alans), and 13th–14th c. (Golden Horde). I could assume that the register meant to say "5th–9th, 11th–13th", but I'd like to find a more reliable source first, if it exists... Shwabb1 ⟨taco⟩ 16:18, 17 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• Small error? For the first one I decided to see if the reference matched the table and it did not. It says 10,000 years old, which would put it at 8000BCE? Other sources date it differently. I'm skeptical about the 1.5 million year old claim. Mattximus (talk) 19:04, 26 September 2026 (UTC)reply
"1,5 млн. - 10 тис. років до нашої ери" translates to "1.5 million – 10 thousand years BCE". I suppose they did not bother giving this site an accurate dating and went with a large time range instead, with the actual construction period being somewhere within that range, though certainly not in the earliest parts of it (the oldest known archaeological site in Ukraine is in Korolevo, which is 1.4 million years old, so this one can't be older than that). I normally do not change the datings because it can be difficult to find sources on certain monuments, and sometimes the sources disagree about the specifics. Also, evaluating the accuracy of every single monument's dates would be extremely tedious. If you want, I can make this one of the exceptions and go with 18–19 thousands of years ago (also supported by GUE). Then, the only remaining question is whether "present" constitutes the year when the dwelling was discovered (1935), the "standard year" for BP (1950), or the actual present (2020s). Shwabb1 ⟨taco⟩ 20:14, 26 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Out of curiosity, I looked at the register's dating of Korolevo (Zakarpattia Oblast), and it is exactly the same (1.5 million – 10 thousand years BCE). Furthermore, the same dates are chosen for Hintsi (Poltava Oblast), Mezhyrich (Cherkasy Oblast), Pushkari (Chernihiv Oblast). Conclusion: this is a generic dating for numerous Paleolithic sites on the register. Shwabb1 ⟨taco⟩ 20:40, 26 September 2026 (UTC)reply

3. "A living fossil, known only from fossil records until discovered alive in 1977." Is there a way to avoid repeating "fossils"? - That is a good suggestion, but I cannot find a way to do it. Many readers won't know what "living fossil" is, so it should be briefly defined, but any definition has to include the word "fossil", and that word doesn't have any synonyms.

• With the next paragraph beginning with "A species may be deemed...", I would again list them with numbered bullets and unitalicize the goals.
1. Viable: The population is healthy and has a minimal risk of extinction over the long term.
2. Ecologically functional: The species is fulfilling its natural role within the ecosystem.
3. Range: The species is represented across its historical range.

• "Since 1964, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has maintained a Red List of species that were in danger of extinction." --> Does the IUCN no longer maintain this Red List? If they do, than "were" should be "are". If they do not, then the sentence should be rephrased to make it clear that it is no longer current.
Done. Noleander (talk) 18:27, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• "Species listed in this article include those that were categorized by IUCN as vulnerable (or worse)..." --> There is no cause to capitalize this word (see Vulnerable species).
Many major scientific sources capitalize those IUCN categories (e.g. the IUCN itself), but some sources do not. The IUCN's official style guide says they should be capitalized. I've posted a query at the WP Biology project asking if WP has established a consensus about this. Personally, I think caps are more helpful to readers because most of those terms also have plain meanings outside the IUCN. Caps tell the reader it is specfically an IUCN category. E.g. "Biologists in China thought the species was extinct in the wild, but five years later the IUCN assessed it as Endangered, rather than Extinct in the Wild". Is it okay if I wait on this issue until the Biology project responds to the query? Noleander (talk) 18:48, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Of course! Bgsu98 (Talk) 19:16, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Bgsu98: - It's been three days since I posted a query about the capitalization issue. There were only two editors that replied, but it seems clear that WP has not considered this IUCN capitalization issue, so we won't get find any written WP guidance specifically covering IUCN names. I spent time going thru the academic sources to see how they capitalize. The vast majority capitalize. WP:MOSCAPS says "Wikipedia relies on sources to determine what is conventionally capitalized; only words and phrases that are consistently capitalized in a substantial majority of independent, reliable sources are capitalized in Wikipedia." That MOS guideline suggests that, since the vast majority of academic sources capitalize the IUCN class names, this article should also. Noleander (talk) 20:14, 24 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Sounds good to me! Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:15, 24 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Note a – Scientists with the IUCN summarize successful recovery as: "We consider a species fully recovered if it is viable and ecologically functional in every part of its indigenous and projected range." --> The use of "as" here is really not appropriate since it is followed by a direct quote that does not flow naturally from "as". Perhaps "Scientists with the IUCN consider a species fully recovered "if it is viable and ecologically functional in every part of its indigenous and projected range."
Done. Noleander (talk) 18:48, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Note b – I believe Red List and Green Status are proper nouns, but I doubt the other phrases are.
Are your referring to Green Status Assessment Information; Indigenous and Expected Additional Range; Spatial Units; and Ecological Function.? Those are important sections within the IUCN web page on each species. For example, the Condor IUCN page has those sections. They are capitalized in the IUCN web page. It is probably best to keep them capitalized in footnote [b] because the purpose of [b] is to tell readers how to find and interpret data within IUCN web pages. If you think of those sections as chapters of a book, retaining the capitalization tells reader to look for that exact phrase. Noleander (talk) 18:48, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Note c – Neither "vulnerable" nor "endangered" should be capitalized.
Waiting for Biology project reply (see above). Noleander (talk) 18:52, 21 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Note d – "Recoveries limited to captive breeding in zoos or cultivation in botanical gardens, while wild populations remain stable or are declining, may be included in this list..." Also: "If a recovery is later reversed, even if the species becomes extinct, the recovery may be included in this list, but the reversal should be mentioned."

• You fluctuate between full sentences and phrases. I would recommend the use of full sentences, as this is more professional. Therefore, "The population declined...", etc.

• California condor – Recommend shuffling the clauses: "Captive breeding increased the population in 2024 to over 500, including 93 mature individuals in the wild."

Birds
• Nene – "This species... increased from fewer than 50 individuals after a 1958 law created a protection program." --> This reads super awkwardly. "Population over 1,700 in 2021." --> This is not a full sentence.
Done. Now reads The population of this species, also known as the Hawaiian goose, benefited from a 1958 law that created a protection program. The program caused the numbers to increase from fewer than 50 individuals to over 1,700 in 2021. Noleander (talk) 17:59, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Ridgeway's hawk – "However, that year, the species was still experiencing many pressures..." --> I don't know what that means.
Done. Now reads In spite of the increase, the IUCN conservation status remained at Critically Endangered in 2024 – the same level it had been since 2000 – because the species was subjected to a variety of pressures that threatened its recovery. Noleander (talk) 17:59, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Mammals
• Black-footed ferret – "The species remains extirpated in Canada and Mexico." --> I have no idea what that means, and I doubt most readers would either. Recommend finding a wikilink or otherwise explaining this concept.
Done. Changed "extirpated" to "locally extinct". Noleander (talk) 18:04, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• European beaver – "North American beaver (Castor canadensis) was introduced into Finland and northwest Russia in the 1930s to replace the extirpated European beaver there, and Castor canadensis has established a stable population there."

• Saiga antelope – "After protections in Russia were implemented in 1919, the population increased to over 1,000,000, but fell again after removal of the hunting restrictions (1950s)". Also, you use both "1,000,000" and "a million", which I believe are the same thing. Recommend picking one.
Done. Used "one million" both places. Noleander (talk) 18:09, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Scimitar-horned oryx – "In the Holocene, the population may have been about a million" --> This seems very informal for a scientific article. Also, recommend italicizing "ex situ" as that is how it appears later in the article.
Done. Noleander (talk) 18:09, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Vicuña – "The population was probably over a million in the pre-Columbian era..." --> There's another inappropriate word. Recommend using "likely", as it sounds less wishy-washy than "probably" while still being indefinite.

Done. Changed to ... but a population increase of about 28% from the 1970s to 2024 led the IUCN to upgrade the classfication to Least Concern in 2025.
• Round Island day gecko – "Goats (1979) and rabbits (1986) were removed from Round Island..." --> Recommend removing the years or placing them elsewhere in the sentence to avoid this awkward structure.
Done. Changed to A conservation campaign renomved goats from Round Island in 1979 and rabbits in 1986. The population of mature individuals then increased to about 2,347 in 2018.

• @Bgsu98: - I have addressed all of the above items. I also went thru the article, again, and fixed all the remaining sentence fragments (I apologize for their presence: when I was writing the article, I was in a "table-style list" mentality, which made me think fragments are acceptable. But, since the article is bullet-style, fragments are not okay).
A question regarding the two sections "Marine mammals" and "Butterflies": Those sections are sub-groups of other sections ("Mammals" and "Arthorpods", repsectively). The section indentation is misleading, currently. Should those two sub-groups be indented underneath their parent sections? Noleander (talk) 21:43, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
I reduced those down to Subheading 2 for you. However, what is going on with all the hidden species? Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:41, 27 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Those are species that I initially thought might qualify for the article, but later discovered they did not meet the criteria. I'd prefer to keep those hidden comments in the markup file, at least until the FL nomination is finished, in case a reviewer makes a suggestion that requires that material. I can remove the comments after the FL nomination (although one could argue those comments may be valuable to future editors if the status of the species changes in the future). This is my first FLC! Mikołaj Kruszewski is one of the founders of modern phonological theory, but he has remained obscure in English sources for a long time. I have based my organization of the list on List of bibliographies of works on Catullus, using cite templates to their fullest. The list of works is derived mostly from E. F. K. Koerner's bibliography of Kruszewski, but also supplemented by Zinaida Pakholok's more recent compilation. Kisseran (talk) 19:51, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• You may not see this highlighted unless you have a particular script installed, but there are quite a few reference errors caused by the fact that you have spelt the authors' names wrong in the reference. Ref 3 has "Koerne" (final R missing) and refs 9, 21, 22 and 25 have "Pakohlok" (should be Pakholok") -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:35, 7 September 2026 (UTC)reply
• Oops, you're right. That's an embarrassing amount of typos I failed to catch. I'd disabled the harverrors script because most of the cite templates were warning me for not being referenced elsewhere, but forgot that the errors would also stop being displayed. Everything should be fixed now. Kisseran (talk) 09:57, 7 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• "the revised theoretical introduction to his master's dissertation" - I would suggest linking Master's degree and maybe even write it in full, as this kinda reads like he translated a dissertation written by his master ;-)
• "A critique of the concept of analogy as applied by Neogrammarian linguists at the time." - this sentence fragment doesn't need a full stop
• "A follow-up note to Kruszewski (1879b), in which he criticizes the Neogrammarian Karl Brugmann's usage of the term association for analogy." - nor does this one
• "Favorable reviews of Brugmann's 1876 Nasalis sonans[b] and Saussure's 1879 Mémoire." - or this one :-)

Accessibility review (MOS:DTAB)

• The nominee information aren't really a table (the columns have nothing to do with every row). To indicate that it isn't a "data" table but a "presentation" table see MOS:LTAB. You add role=presentation to the table, drop the caption, and it should be ok.
• Tables need row scopes on the "primary" column for each row, which in combination with column scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Row scopes can be added by adding !scope=row to each primary cell, e.g. in the "Nominations and wins by program" table | Severance becomes !scope=row | Severance (on its own line).
• Please see MOS:DTAB for example table code if this isn't clear.

• "This is a list of the most populous cities in India" should be removed per MOS:THISISALIST

• "The 46 cities with populations of 1 million and above are known as Million Plus UAs or Cities." - unsourced

• "and, the national capital New Delhi." - no reason for that comma
• THe first sentence says "There are 496 cities in India with a population of over 100,000" but the threshold for the article seems to be 100,000 and there are only 340 listed. Where are the other 156......?

• The first note in the lead should be actual note beside "population" in the table, for example .
• Need a reference in the table for both popululation columns.
• Need to update wording, featured lists no longer use "This list is based on the Census of India ". You can write "India conducts conducts censuses regularly with the two most recent being...".
• The lead needs to be significantly expanded, and summarize the table. Much can be said here, see other featured lists. For example, you say Mumbai is the largest city, but don't say it's population, or the date from which this claim is made.
• The last three notes can be incorporated into a paragraph in the lead, with an opening sentence like "Cities in india are classified into three categories..."
• Image caption should say "Map of most populous cities in India"
• Why have two lists? It seems arbitrary? Why not just one?
Most done. Will do the significantly expanding. Thelifeofan413 (talk) 18:31, 24 September 2026 (UTC)reply

! Year becomes !scope=col | Year.
| 1987 becomes !scope=row | 1987 (on its own line). If the cell spans multiple rows with a rowspan, then use !scope=rowgroup instead.
• Please see MOS:DTAB for example table code if this isn't clear.
• All images should have alt-text.
• Color/bolding should not be used as the sole visual means of conveying information; use a symbol in addition. (You have a symbol in the key, but haven't used it appropriately.
• You'll need to use the upright param for the images instead of a pixel size (MOS:UPRIGHT).
• I suggest that the tables be simplified and background colors only be used when strictly necessary. e.g. if background color is needed for a row then only add it to the pharoah's name and not the rest of the row.
• (please Reply to icon mention me on reply) -MPGuy2824 (talk) 13:46, 23 August 2026 (UTC)reply
• In addition, many of the tables (for example, the one under First Dynasty) have mid-table headers, which is plainly against MOS:DTAB. Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:03, 23 August 2026 (UTC)reply
• For PharaohCrab's benefit I'll mention that this is an MOS:COLHEAD issue which needs to be fixed. For "The position and identity of the following pharaohs is unknown:" I would suggest that you remove this and add a footnote to the "*" in the first cell of every such row.
• Another point that I just saw is that the information in "Modern" table in the Second dynasty isn't really a table (the columns have nothing to do with every row). To indicate that it isn't a "data" table but a "presentation" table see MOS:LTAB. You add role=presentation to the table, drop the caption, change all '!' to '|' and it should be ok. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 05:40, 24 August 2026 (UTC)reply

• Excellent and very important list but the sourcing is somewhat lacking. The lede includes information that isn't present elsewhere in the article and which isn't sourced, but this should be an easy fix.
• In fact, the sourcing throughout the article is sometimes absent or hard to follow. There are paragraphs that don't have any sources at the end, which makes it unclear whether there is a source.
• There are sentences that tell readers to go consult a range of sources for more information. At the end of "Sourcing and chronology", readers are encouraged to compare eight different published sources. Sentences like these could be converted into a footnote at least. As with the just-promoted Timeline of the 2000 Pacific hurricane season, another editor and I are hoping to start a good topic around the 2001 Pacific hurricane season. The season was largely unremarkable, with activity levels close to average. However, Hurricane Juliette produced hurricane conditions on the southernmost extent of the Baja California peninsula before making landfall as a tropical storm, and (though this is omitted from the list as out of scope) Hurricane Adolph was retired because its name sounded like a certain someone... • "This timeline documents tropical cyclone formations, strengthening, weakening, landfalls, and dissipations during the season." --> There is something odd about this wording when two of the words are singular and the others are plural. I don't know if "strengthenings" or "weakenings" work?
May 27
• "Tropical Storm Adolph strengthens into a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir–Simpson scale about 235 mi (380 km) south of Acapulco." --> This really isn't necessary, especially since you mentioned the scale earlier.

Well-written overall. Some small suggestions.

• I'd add that Adolph became the strongest May Pacific hurricane at the time, when you add its peak.
• "Tropical Depression Barbara is last noted as a tropical cyclone about 100 mi (155 km) northwest of Niʻihau" - add Hawaii
• "Tropical Storm Dalila strengthens into a Category 1 hurricane about 140 mi (220 km) east-southeast of Socorro Island" - since Socorro is basically unpopulated, I suggest using the same areas you've used elsewhere in the article for consistency (Cabo San Lucas/Manzanillo)
• Tropical Depression Nine-E forms from a "monsoon-like" tropical wave about 330 mi (530 km) west-southwest of Manzanillo - why the quotation marks?
• I suggest removing the track for TD 6-E, since it was short-lived and not interesting. There are two too many images on my screen, so removing this one and one more would look best. Either Adolph's track (since you already have the satellite image) or Manuel's track (not interesting) would be my suggestion.

These are pretty minimal. My only other note is that with the 2001 Pacific hurricane season at under 4,000 words, I think that article could accommodate all of the info from the timeline (roughly 4,600 words). I noted in a recent discussion about the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season that I believed short season articles (under 5,000 words) could contain their respective timeline articles. However, that would be a broader discussion affecting several articles, and isn't necessarily an indictment on this timeline. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:41, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply

• "The competition is open to Primera and Segunda División teams, plus some qualifiers from lower levels." This doesn't tally with the infobox that says 126 teams, it needs to be reworded to relfect how the competition is organised. Also, I don't think SportCraazy is a reliable source

• "In 1910 and 1913 two parallel tournaments, both eventually recognised, and finals were played due to the rivalry between Federación Española de Clubs de Football (the forerunner of the Royal Spanish Football Federation) and the Unión Española de Clubs de Foot-bal." This needs a reference

• "The 2020 final—due to have taken place in the April of that year between Basque clubs Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad—was rescheduled to April 2021 in the hope the match could have been played with spectators in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic." This final has happened so it should say what happened rather than stating it was hoped spectators may attend

• I'd maybe consider mimicking the FA Cup finals list and doing first final and most recent final, as that table is very unwiedly with every season listed
• Is Linguasport a reliable source?
• There shouldn't be capitals for a full word in a reference, as ref 4, just write it as normal
• Is Sportskeed a reliable source?
• Same with Goal.com
• Some refs write the dates out (26 May 2026), others have them as numbers (2026-05-26) needs to be consistent in one style. I'd go with written out.

That's it so far, the references do concern me, as there are a lot of questionable sources used. NapHit (talk) 15:41, 18 September 2026 (UTC)reply

@NapHit, I should've addressed all of your concerns. In case you support my nomination, could you please take a look at List of Emperor's Cup finals? Wikipediæ philosophia (talk) 22:20, 18 September 2026 (UTC)reply
There's still some work to do here. The references you added for point 2 don't mention anything about a rivalry. You need a reference that mentions this rivalry. You haven't addressed my thrird point, the sentence still reads the same. The references need work as well. RSSSF references need the date and author that are at the bottom of the pages adding, some refs are missing authors (such as ref 7), scorelines need an em dash rather than a hyphen, ref 11 needs an access date, ref 12 has no publisher, ref 13 don't write out full words in capitals. So, still some more work to do, but we're on the right track. NapHit (talk) 12:25, 22 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@NapHit, should've fixed everything. A note: find and replace didn't recognize hyphens being used in scores. Wikipediæ philosophia (talk) 21:50, 22 September 2026 (UTC)reply

This is an article about Undertale concerts. I've been working on it since May, and now, I believe it meets the citeria! After a Peer Review, I have exhausted basically any way to improve this article, and i firmly believe this meets the citeria.

I'm very passionate about the Undertale and Deltarune (UTDR) series, and I would love for this to be the first featured content about UTDR! Monathephantom (talk) 13:43, 15 August 2026 (UTC)reply

I saw you nominated this for FL and I thought I would give you some more suggestions.

• Specify the language in [nb 1]
• You don't need to link every single instance of something; i.e., linking "Tokyo" in every single cell it appears in a table is largely unnecessary. You should just link the first one (as you did for Japan in the "initial run" table).
• Some countries are linked (Japan, UK, etc.) and some are not (Canada, Netherlands, etc.).
• England and Scotland should probably not be listed as "countries", especially since you used "United Kingdom" in other cells.
• for reference [3] (and any others this appears in), Quotes inside of quotes are styled as "This is a 'quote' " instead of "This is a "quote" ".
• In The Determination Symphony section, both sentences use the same sources, so you could consolidate them into one by just leaving both at the end (you could do this with any citation, i noticed [15] does this as well) — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZKevinTheCat (talk • contribs)
@ZKevinTheCat All changes done! Monathephantom (talk) 12:55, 16 August 2026 (UTC)reply
I think you misunderstood my last suggestion, I didn't mean that both citations had the same information, I meant that instead of citing both sentences individually with both citations you could instead cite both sentences with the citations at the both just at the end. I have fixed this myself so now you can see what I mean. Going over it again the only things I noted were some inconsistent links (which I have also fixed myself), and some merging issues. As you did in the last two tables, events that take place in the same city, venue, or country should have those cells merged to get rid of clutter.
I haven't noticed anything else wrong with the article (sources look fine, prose is well-written, it's visually appealing), so once the merging issue is fixed I can go ahead and give my Support. ZKevinTheCat (talk) 13:44, 16 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@ZKevinTheCat All merging issues has been complete! Monathephantom (talk) 16:01, 16 August 2026 (UTC)reply
• @ZKevinTheCat: For tables which are sortable, it is recommended that wikilinks be added for every row since the table could be sorted on any column. That said, MOS:OL also comes in to the picture here which says that "major examples" of settlements need not be linked. Tokyo being a megacity would fit that definition. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 05:19, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@MPGuy2824 Is it a requirement for everything to be linked in order to meet FL requirements? Monathephantom (talk) 19:00, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
A frequent thing pointed out in FL reviews is "Link the first usage of XYZ in the list". For sortable lists, since quite a few of the columns can be used for the sorting, any of the rows may appear at the top. We always suggest that if a word is going to be wikilinked, then it should be wikilinked in every row of such a table. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 05:22, 18 August 2026 (UTC)reply

The only concern I have is that the tables lack references. I'd propose creating another column that would include the references for each show. Vacant0 (talk • contribs) 16:04, 20 August 2026 (UTC)reply

I removed the references column as it was just the same reference being repeated over and over again, and the sources listed in each section already verifies the location for each concert event. But, I could bring it back, but it's pretty unnecessary. Monathephantom (talk) 16:08, 20 August 2026 (UTC)reply
At least to me, it is unclear which reference(s) back up the tables. If others agree with me, we can then bring back the column. Vacant0 (talk • contribs) 16:12, 20 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@MPGuy2824, @ZKevinTheCat @ChrisTheDude what do you three think? Monathephantom (talk) 16:20, 20 August 2026 (UTC)reply
If there's a single reference that sources an entire table, I would suggest putting it against the column header(s) just so it doesn't look like the table is unsourced -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:28, 21 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@ChrisTheDude Would a source coming from the official website of the concerts itself be good enough for the table to be sourced or does it have to be only from indepedent sources? Monathephantom (talk) 16:25, 24 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Yeah, that would be OK -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:17, 27 August 2026 (UTC)reply

• Ref11: change website to Famitsu
• Same goes for Ref12, Ref18
• Ref15: website title is incorrect
• Same goes for Ref16, Ref19
• Optional: wikilink website titles (those that have their own articles)
• Reference titles currently are not written consistenly, some user sentence case, some use title case.
• Translate titles of all foreign-language references.
• I'd personally remove quotes from references, but I'm open to hearing what others think.
• All sources should have dates listed.
• All secondary sources are listed as reliable at WP:VG/RS and are often used in video game FAs

I'll now perform a spotcheck. I'll first spotcheck tables (the sources in the Ref. column). *Studebaker Theater is unsourced. (table 1), the rest is sourced

• The second table is entirely sourced
• Third table: everything is unsourced except May 6, 2019
• Fourth table is unsourced, I cannot find anything in those two sources
• Fifth table is unsourced
• Sixth table is unsourced

*Seventh table is partially sourced. Some dates are there, some are missing in the source. Cities are provided but venues are not.

I can spotcheck the rest of the article once these issues are adressed. I will vote once everything is addressed. Vacant0 (talk • contribs) 18:03, 28 August 2026 (UTC)reply

@Vacant0 Some sources are fixed right now, but about the Determination Symphony tour, the source, the website itself has the venues listed when you click on the location. For example; when you click on the one for October 23, 2026 in Charlotte NC, clicking on the link will send you to a ticketmaster website containing the venue being Ovens Auditorim. I believe this is the case for most of the other sources in the tables as well. But, if that doesn't work for sources, then i can just source it individually for each concert event. Monathephantom (talk) 19:08, 28 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@Giants2008 @PresN @Hey man im josh Pinging FLC coordinators here: If I use the concerts main website as a source for each date and location the concert takes place as, would it be good enough for verifablity? Clicking on the location within the Determination Symphony will take you to a website to purchase the tickets which confirms the venue. Just asking since its an first party source. Monathephantom (talk) 13:09, 29 August 2026 (UTC)reply
In general, "click through to another site" is insufficient as a source; additionally, those ticketmaster links will one day die if not archived, so best to cite each venue directly with an archived source. --PresN 14:10, 29 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@PresN Would citing each venue individually with a archived link to the tickets be fine? Monathephantom (talk) 14:42, 29 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Yes. --PresN PresN 14:53, 29 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Putting strikethroughs through references that i have fixed verifying. About the Determination Symphony one. I found a better way to just verify all of them instead of just linking them individually through ticketmaster and thats because https://www.undertalesymphony.com/tour-dates contains not only all cities, but also the venues for each concert takes place at, which should verify all of those.

[edit]

I've looked through the list and have some issues that I would like to raise. My primary point is that I don't think it's a good idea to seperate every concert into a different section. This is irregular for most lists of live performances by artists (see List of Taylor Swift live performances). I believe a more easily navigatable list would be one with only two tables, one for one-off concerts and another tours. This would also be in line with WP:TABDD, which advises against splitting up sortable tables. If you are determined to keep this as a prose list, I would like to point to Final Fantasy concerts, which includes highlights of the setlist and reviews from critics. In comparison, no entry on this list really goes in depth. Are there really no sources that discuss any aspects of these concerts except for dates?

I have several more comments about the sourcing as well:

• Japanese language sources should use script-title=ja: and quotes should use script-quote=ja: for accessibility reasons.
• English sources should italicize names of works, e.g. Undertale
• Fullwidth signs in Japanese source titles (!, for example) should be replaced with the standard counterparts (!).
• Some of the source titles contain text that is part of the website name and not the article title, such as "ゲーム・エンタメ最新情報のファミ通.com".
• Some sources need wikilinks to the respective website, such as PC Gamer, Eurogamer.net, GameSpot, Kotaku
• Some website parameters need to be amended, e.g. "www.rpgsite.net" → "RPGSite" and "NIPPON COLUMBIA" → "Nippon Columbia"
• Why is Tokyo randomly wikilinked in this translated quote? Chiba, Shizuoka, Osaka, Aichi, and Tokyo between April and May 2026. Advance ticket sales began today, Friday, January 23, on the official website.

On the prose:

• Its soundtrack, also composed by Fox, was highly acclaimed by critics - "highly acclaimed" is an extraordinarie claim that requires extraordinarie sourcing. Currently no source is provided. Regardless, I don't really see how it is particularly relevant to a list of concerts.
• with a second performance held that July at The Symphony Hall in Osaka. - from reading the list I can see that this "second performance" is a part of a tour, but that is not really cleared from this sentence. In the lead, this could easily be interpreted as referring to another concert entirely.
• Concert names (e.g. Undertale Live) should not be italicized, except for the Undertale part since that is a creative work.
• in which audience voting shaped the performance - This seems ambigous to me. Does it mean that audience voting determined the setlist? That audiences controlled the onstage lighting? I also find it strange that this is not mentioned in the Undertale Live (2020) section at all.
• which was toured across Japan - I've never heard of something being toured, although I have heard of someone touring.
• San Jose, California, - this should be one wikilink (San Jose, California) per WP:GEOLINK
• scheduled to end in Glasgow on February 28, 2027 - and this should be Glasgow, Scotland
• I've never heard the term "Single concerts"; I believe "One-off concerts" is more universal
• Tours are surely more signifcant and should be listed above one-off concerts.
• directed by Masaki Yamamoto of Metroberry - what is Metroberry?
• Following its initial success across nine Japanese cities - to me, "initial success" sounds promotional. Something like "favorable sales" would be better in my opinion.
• is an live orchestral concert tour - should be "a live"
• Glasgow, United Kingdom - UK should be Scotland here. I also really do not understand the inconsistent linking of cities; some are linked, others aren't.
• Not really relevant to this list per se, but I do not understand why Undertale: The Determination Symphony has been split off into a standalone article when it only consists of a list of dates that is already found here.

On the images:

In my opinion, the best course of action is to expand the Undertale Soundtrack with a section on concerts and cut back the content on this article to only include a lead summarizing the rough history of these concerts, with two tables in the body for one-off concerts and tours, listing only dates without the prose currently found here. I'm sorry if my comments seem harsh, but I found the structure here to be on the messy side and I can only see that problem growing larger and larger as more concerts are held over the years. Hey y'all, mammal list #79 in our perpetual series and rodent list #24: Rodents! This is our final list of the order, and the second-to-last list of our entire series. This is a giant list, with 511 genera containing 2360 species, and follows on from the structure of similar (smaller) lists for other orders like list of carnivorans and list of chiropterans. As I said on Discord when I finished the list back in January: you deserved every rat on the planet in one spot, and by god you got it. Fortunately for you reviewers, while this is a giant list in kilobytes, it's actually significantly shorter than the previous list for Murinae - a massive chunk of the size is the 593 references. I've resisted citing to the IUCN for per-family rather than per-genus, which does make for a lot of cite templates. As always, the list reflects the scientific consensus as well as the results of prior FLCs. I hope you enjoy one last look at these little guys. My only comment

• Anomaluromorpha contains two families, the scaly-tailed squirrels and the springhares. Castorimorpha contains three families and includes beavers, gophers, kangaroo rats, and pocket mice. Hystricomorpha contains 18 families and includes mole-rats, porcupines, cavies, hutias, tuco-tucos, and Neotropical spiny rats. Myomorpha contains nine families and includes jerboas, hamsters, voles, and a wide variety of rats and mice. Sciuromorpha contains three families and includes squirrels, chipmunks, and dormice.[1][2] I notice these sentences all start the same. Can you switch things up a bit or maybe even use passive voice? I'm not sure.

This discussion has been dead for a few days, and nearly every point raised in this discussion has been addressed. How are we looking to proceed? BakedintheHole (talk) 12:44, 28 August 2026 (UTC)reply

I am nominating this for featured list because...

In the past, several attempts have been made to publish a page listing every film in the Criterion Channel, but they repeatedly fell into the traps of WP:NOTDIRECTORY, WP:NOTSALE, or other Wikisins. After extensive research, rewriting, and peer review, I have successfully created and had published a page that encompasses the list in an easy to navigate, clean, and efficient way. I believe the extreme thoroughness, extreme detail, and great design of the page make it eligible for this distinct honor. It is my hope you feel the same. [edit]
• There are unsourced statements, particularly this one: While the Criterion Collection began releasing films originally on LaserDisc and VHS, they switched to DVD in 1998. Their DVD releases are considered the main canon of films in the collection, with the first DVD release being designated the first spine number. Thus, films previously released by the Criterion Collection on formats other than DVD are not included on this list.
• Colored background cannot be the only means of conveying information, as is the case on the table to differentiate between laserdisc and DVD releases. Additionally, there is no need for every cell to have a colored background.

Bgsu98 (Talk) 19:19, 5 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Noted! I will gladly amend. As for the second point, how may I best differentiate LaserDisc, DVD, and LaserDisc/DVD releases without falling into WP:NOTCATALOG? BakedintheHole (talk) 13:00, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Well, being released on DVD appears to be the default. So, you could notate laserdisc releases with (LD) and laserdisc/DVD releases with (LD/DVD). You could even use (LD) and (LD/DVD) to make them as unobtrusive as possible. They would render as (LD) and (LD/DVD). And then you include those in the color field of the key. Bgsu98 (Talk) 19:27, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Great idea! Thank you, I'll add it! BakedintheHole (talk) 20:57, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply

• In addition to the above.....
• "the Criterion Channel launched, a streaming service" - there seems to be at least one word missing here (or if not, then the comma is not needed)
• In the tables, titles starting with "A" or "The" should sort based on the next word in the title
• Directors' names should sort based on surname, not forename
• As it's a sortable table, directors' names should be linked on each usage, not just the first
• Notes column is unsourced (eg without a source how do we know that film 8 is the first from Hong Kong and that none of 5, 6, and 7 were from that territory?)
• In the second and subsequent tables, bolding cannot be the only means of conveying information, because screen readers used by visually impaired people do not read out the fact that the words are in bold
• Note a refers to "both films being released as number 151", but there actually seem to be three films with number 151 in the table
• That's what I got -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 10:07, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Noted. For point #6, I am unsure of how to add colored columns in tables such as the ones I have created. Hence the bold. I would be glad to remove the bold, would you be able to show me how to add colors to those rows, please?
For point #7, both films were released as #151 on Laserdisc. See the note and the legend. Is there a way I may make it clearer? BakedintheHole (talk) 12:55, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Bolding and background colors are both visual, so just adding a background color will not help. You'll need to add some sort of symbol as well. I suggest that you replace the bolding, with a background color and add a symbol too. Look at a current FL nom, (e.g. List of World Heritage Sites in France) to see how to do that. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 13:11, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Perfect example! Thank you!! BakedintheHole (talk) 17:46, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Re #151, the point I was making was that Traffic, Akira, and Letter from an Unknown Woman all seem to be #151. So that's three films released with that number, not just two........? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 19:07, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
I think the issue is that two films were released as #151 on LaserDisc and only one was released as #151 on DVD. In concurrence to a recommendation offered by Bgsu98 above, I think I know a way to make this clearer and will try tonight! BakedintheHole (talk) 21:00, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Hello! I have gone through and organized every director by surname, as well as sorting films starting with "a" based on the next word in the title. However, for titles starting with the word "the", there are literally hundreds of films. I have been doing this all myself so far - do you know any tags I can put on the page or anywhere I could share it to please get some help? BakedintheHole (talk) 19:39, 12 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Accessibility review (MOS:DTAB)

[edit]
• Tables need captions, which allow screen reader software to jump straight to named tables without having to read out all of the text before it each time. Visual captions can be added by putting |+ caption_text as the first line of the table code; if that caption would duplicate a nearby section header, you can make it screen-reader-only by putting |+ caption_text instead.
• Tables need column scopes for all column header cells, which in combination with row scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Column scopes can be added by adding !scope=col to each header cell, e.g. ! Year becomes !scope=col | Year.
| 1987 becomes !scope=row | 1987 (on its own line). If the cell spans multiple rows with a rowspan, then use !scope=rowgroup instead.
• Please see MOS:DTAB for example table code if this isn't clear.
• The image should have alt-text.
• Reviewers before me have already told you about the color/bolding issue.

[edit]
• The sentence "This list uses the spine numbers of DVD releases unless otherwise noted for all films" should be in notes (linked form the heading of the table) and not in the lead.
• Same with "Film titles in bold text indicate the film was previously released on LaserDisc." Leads for tables should summarize table.
• Similarly, the two tables should have a short paragraph describing the list. For example. "there are x movies released by criterion from x to 2026". Something like this.
• The notes column is mostly blank, and not overly useful. Can this information be moved to a paragraph lead? For example, "The Grand illusion is the first French film in the collection, which now contains x French films".
• You mention countries a lot, would it not be worth adding this column? As of now I only know the first French film, not any others. Or language?
• Maybe a better suggestion than the previous two would be to replace the notes column with the country column, as the notes is almost exclusively country anyway, but would fix the problem of the nearly empty column with arbitrary info in it.
• You have dvd, and laserdisc, but not blu ray? This seems like an important omission.
• Image missing alt-text
• Movie "i live in fear" missing date
• Some notes have spine capitalized, some not. Is there a better way of putting these notes for spine number into the table itself, it's a bit silly to have hundred notes saying the same thing.
Quite a few important changes needed before it reaches featured list status. Mattximus (talk) 17:18, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Fixed! I used most of these suggestions, but I believe point #3 may make the article fall into WP:NOTDIRECTORY and WP:NOTSALE,so I did respectfully avoid adding it. I revised the intro paragraphs in a different way that may fit it better. BakedintheHole (talk) 00:32, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
I don't see some of critical changes that need to be made, which need to be made to reach featured list. Please note which are complete and I'll take a look. Mattximus (talk) 02:12, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Point 2, 7, and 8 have been addressed. Point 3 and point 6 have respectfully been decided against, as this would get me into the weeds of specific product type I fear would invoke WP:NOTSALE. Point 4 has been avoided for brevity and consistency between tables. BakedintheHole (talk) 12:56, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
I would say at the very least, point 6 needs to be addressed. If you write about the blu-ray in the lead, but not mention it in the table, it must be there. Also why mention DVD and Laserdisc but not blu-ray. I would have to oppose based on this critical missing component alone. Point 1 is also not addressed? I also proposed above an alternative to point 4 and 5 to see if you like that suggestion better. I'm open to different ideas, but that column needs to be fixed somehow. Mattximus (talk) 16:19, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Films released on DVD/Blu-Ray are always listed under the same spine number. LaserDisc releases include films not eventually released on DVD. Thus, when applicable, I have listed them as either films released solely on LaserDisc or films released on LaserDisc later released to DVD. This would be moot for Blu-Ray. BakedintheHole (talk) 17:49, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply
So to clarify, some are released on LaserDisc but not DVD, however all DVDs are also released as Blu Rays and have the same spine number? If then you can simply add that in the legend. If not, that would need distinction. It just seems so odd to have LaserDisc as a category but not Blu Ray. Any reader would be confused, as it's mentioned in the lead. Mattximus (talk) 20:00, 17 August 2026 (UTC)reply

I am nominating this for featured list because I believe it meets the featured list criteria. Since its previous nomination, the discography has undergone a substantial overhaul. The lead has been expanded to provide a more comprehensive overview of Keyshia Cole's recording career, while the prose and sourcing have been reviewed and improved throughout. The tables have been updated for consistency and completeness, and all chart positions, certifications, and release information have been verified against reliable sources. I have also addressed the issues raised during the previous nomination and subsequent peer review. I welcome any comments or suggestions for further improvement. Indigault (talk) 02:00, 1 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Image review is a pass. It's just one image that has adequate explanation for being on wikicommons. Since there's only one image I've added some alt text for it - please keep in mind this is required for any images in a FL/FA nomination. [edit]
• "Cole's musical career officially began" - not sure the word "officially" is needed here, unless she somehow had some sort of prior unofficial career
• "and was later certified a platinum" => "and was later certified platinum"
• "by the RIAA" - write this out in full with the initialism in brackets
• "produced the massive hit" - "massive hit" is a bit unencyclopedic. You quantify its massiveness almost immediately, so I would just lose those two words
• "has been certified platinum—while further singles" => "has been certified platinum, while further singles"
• "Her third album, A Different Me (2008), became the peak week " - this doesn't make sense, as an album can't "become a week"
• "The album produced three singles, such as" - as you go on to list all three in the same sentence, "such as" isn't appropriate. I would replace it with a colon (and remove "alongside" later in the sentence).
• "which became one of her releases to top the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart." => "which became another of her releases to top the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart."
• In the tables, any releaes that didn't chart anywhere will need separate sourcing, as they aren't sourced by the refs in the column headers
• That's all I got - nice work! -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 15:06, 14 August 2026 (UTC)reply
Thank you so much for the feedback! I am almost finished completing your suggestions, here are my replies!
• I think it's best to keep "officially began" because it seems that Cole did have a prior unofficial career through 1998-2003 since that's when she was featuring on other musical projects and was apart of a short-lived trio called Grip before going solo and later signing to A&M/Interscope. (check "Guest appearances" and the Early life and Career beginnings section of her main article.)
• I changed "Her third album, A Different Me (2008), became the peak week" to "Her third album, A Different Me (2008), became the pinnacle of her commercial success up to that point" instead. I hope that works!
• I've finished the rest of the suggestions so far except for the tables.

• The album produced three singles: "Enough of No Love" (featuring Lil Wayne), which entered the Hot 100 and reached the top ten on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, "Trust and Believe" and "I Choose You", which further charted on Billboard's urban rankings. I suggest restructuring the sentence because I had to re-read 3 times just to comprehend what was being said.

• There is no reason for the Reference column to be sortable. Removing that will narrow the column. Also, replace Ref. with Ref..
Lead
• "the first U.S. president" --> "the first president of the United States".
• "one of the many Founding Fathers of the United States." --> "one of the country's many Founding Fathers."
• No reason for "Patriot" to be capitalized.
• "Washington presided over the Philadelphia Convention in 1787, which drafted the Constitution of the United States, and served as president of the United States from 1789 to 1797." --> As written, this implies that the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 served as president of the United States from 1789 to 1797, which we know is not correct.
• No reason for "Vice President" to be capitalized.
• "he was entombed at Mount Vernon estate in Fairfax County, Virginia, alongside his wife Martha Washington." --> Did Martha Washington die before him? Because I thought he died first.
• "Washington was painted many times throughout his life due to his high importance in the United States." --> This is a very banal sentence.
• "Because he was also the first president of the United States, people wanted official portraits for government buildings, statehouses, and public institutions." --> Source no. 12 says nothing about any of this.
• "There were also no cameras during his lifetime, as they were invented about 50 years after he died, meaning paintings were the main way to preserve his likeness." --> Sources no. 13 and 14 say nothing about cameras.
• However, sources 12, 13, and 14 do discuss the questionable validity as to how accurate these portraits of George Washington actually were, which your lead does not discuss.
• "One of the most widely recognized paintings of Washington is the Athenaeum Portrait." --> Source no. 15 does not confirm this statement. The citation is also improperly formatted.
• All of the citations need to be cleaned up and archived.
• Note a: "This painting was never complete, although, many complete copies exist" --> Get rid of that second comma, and end the sentence with a period.

User:Realcosmixyt: To be honest, the quality of the prose is beneath what I would expect from a Featured Article/List. It needs to be cleaned up and strengthened to make it more engaging. It reads more like an essay a student might write for a high school history class. Oppose for now until major improvements are made. Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:39, 25 June 2026 (UTC)reply

[edit]

I've just finished looking over the images, and unfortunately there are some issues. Getting the positives out of the way: all images add encyclopedic value to the list, and are appropriately licensed for either Creative Commons or the public domain. Sourcing also verifies for most images, though I went over to Commons to fix some broken links (see my edits there), and I don't consider Christie's to be an adequate source for File:Thomas Sully, Portrait of General George Washington, 1842.jpg. The biggest issue is the complete absence of alt text. Quoting from WP:MOSALT: In situations where the image is not available to the reader, perhaps because they have turned off images in their web browser or are using a screen reader due to a visual impairment, the alternative text ensures that no information or functionality is lost. Alt text needs to be added to every image before this list can pass FLC; until then, this list falls short on accessibility. Dylan620 (he/they/she • talk • edits) 15:17, 16 July 2026 (UTC)reply

Hey! Thank you for pointing this out! I have added some alt text to a few of the paintings, and I'll finish the rest later when I have the time. Thank you again for pointing this out! Visual captions can be added by putting |+ caption_text as the first line of the table code; if that caption would duplicate a nearby section header, you can make it screen-reader-only by putting |+ caption_text instead.
• Tables need row scopes on the "primary" column for each row, which in combination with column scopes lets screen reader software accurately determine and read out the headers for each cell of a data table. Row scopes can be added by adding !scope=row to each primary cell, e.g. | 1 becomes !scope=row | 1. If the cell spans multiple rows with a rowspan, then use !scope=rowgroup instead. The row header doesn't have to be the first cell, so for this one it should probably be the title, not the image.

Nominations for removal

[edit]

Notified: WikiProject Skyscrapers

Sadly a lot of these list of tallest buildings have not aged well, this one was nominated almost 20 years ago (!). Here are some issues which range from minor to major:

• Alt-text missing from every single picture
• Notes section needs to be completely redone. Consider the Grade I listed buildings in Oxford note section for what modern featured list notes should be. Currently, it is quite random. One lists the date of topping out, but not for any others. One says "To be leased by amazon" with no date, nor period. Citation is from 2024?
• Much outdated wording "This lists ranks...". Notes in the subheading lead, which belong in notes, not in the lead (which is meant to describe the table contents).
• Tallest under construction appears to be years out of date, with no expected year of completion.
• What does the "skyline ranked 3rd" mean? What are the criteria for ranking?
• Number of high rises in the lead do not match table.
• Inconsistent naming. Is the tallest building called Amazon Sonic, or just Sonic?
• Could use a map, like some of the other featured list of tallest buildings.
• Statement in lead "lead to a new round of development in 2024" is not backed up by the table.
• Sort is completely broken for year of completion.
• There might be duplicates in main table and under construction table, but I'm not sure.
• Timeline of tallest buildings could use a little lead to explain the history.
• Citations seem outdated, and user-generated content, number 6 has no reference at all!
• Images of skyline are 19 and 11 years out of date, so miss many of the buildings in the list itself

Certainly on the content front, this appears to all be up to date. WWE 2k27 is in development but doesn't have a release date. RandomEditsForWhenIRemember (talk) 20:58, 18 August 2026 (UTC)reply
That being said, at a glance a lot of the ref links appear to be dead. I've manually fixed a few and run the IABot, but it might be worth a deeper dive just in case it's missed any considering how many it marked. I am also not sure what exactly needs sourcing and what doesn't as I'm not too familiar with VG FLs ("Arcade style game replacing WWE 2K21 due to the negative reviews and low sales WWE 2K20 received." strikes me as needing a source, as does the Benoit section)/RandomEditsForWhenIRemember (talk) 21:14, 18 August 2026 (UTC)reply
