Accused
[edit]Hello. Some time ago I noticed this template in a fellow editor's page and decided to use it. I was updating it everytime I was on or off, which generally meant updating it anywhere from 2 to maybe 6 times a day. I thought it was a useful template to let editors know if I was away, offline, or in Wikipedia.
Unfortunately one day that I requested a permission, the administrator who was checking on me falsely accused me that I may be inflating my edit count because they saw my updates of this template. I was outraged of the implied accusation of dishonesty, I let them know, but I also stopped using this template as a result. I think it would be good if there was an option for this template to be automatic to avoid this kind of uncalled for issues. Regards, Thinker78 (talk) 04:45, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
