Category needed

This template needs an accompanying category to place dormant proposals in when they are tagged with it. Something like Category:Wikipedia dormant proposals or Category:Wikipedia stale proposals. -- œ^™ 00:04, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Disagree with merge

This was a wonderfully worded template and is a much better alternative to {{failed}} in some cases. I don't see why both templates cannot coexist. A merge was not necessary nor desirable here. Also, being dormant or stale is not the same thing as failed. -- œ^™ 10:18, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

I agree—failing from opposition is different from becoming dormant through lack of discussion. I'm going to be bold and restore the template, since it seems like there was no discussion on the merge. Antony–22 (^talk⁄_contribs) 21:35, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
