• Keep The article is still within the typical size for pages before the issue of intricate detail is brought up. I agree with ferret's view that there is no overly intricate detail here and the banner is not relevant. If you believe otherwise, then, please explain in more detail, simply saying "there is a banner there" to justify a reassessment goes against not a bureaucracy. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 15:19, 12 January 2025 (UTC)

Steam Machine(s) link update in 3rd introductory paragraph

I think we should change the link labelled as “Steam Machine” in the sentence “Steam's success has led to the development of the Steam Machine gaming PCs in 2015, including the SteamOS Linux distribution and Steam Controller; Steam Link devices for local game streaming; and in 2022, the handheld Steam Deck tailored for running Steam games.” to Steam Machines (with the label set to Steam Machine) from Steam Machine, as the context of the sentence seems to indicate the old one instead of the new one. The page was also moved recently from Steam Machine to Steam Machines, so the article may not have been updated. Sunflowerthomas (talk) 22:00, 30 July 2026 (UTC)

Changed that. I dont think we need to get too far into hardware, importantly is SteamOS and Proton for these systems. Masem (t) 03:28, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
