COI request

[edit]

(The following request by Alyssa Nectar PR copied from WP:TH#Community Assistance by ColinFine (talk) 11:04, 10 November 2018 (UTC))Reply

Remove software from second sentence, because Intercom is for any business with a website Add Sydney to the list of Intercom offices Industry should be “Enterprise Software”, not customer communications Change David Barrett’s title in the list of key people; he is a co-founder but no longer at the company/ OR remove David Barrett from key people Add Karen Peacock (COO) and Alexandra Shapiro (CMO) to the Key People List Update the last sentence in the upfront paragraph to reflect Intercom’s current customer and conversation count: As of October 2018, Intercom has 30,000+ paying customers and powers 500M conversations monthly.   Edit request partially implemented

  1. Green tick Sydney was added.
  2. The following infobox parameters were modified as requested:
    1. Green tick The |key people= parameter was updated with only non-founders
    2. Green tick The founders were placed under the |founders= parameter.
  3. Green tick The figure for 30,000 customers was updated, as it was linked to an author (Alex Konrad) writing about the figure in an article.
  4. Red X The figure concerning 500M was not added, as this is a figure only supplied by the company, and not offered as coming from an independent source's author. Having no author attached makes it less reliable, as there is less accountability for the claim as opposed to one where an author has placed their name (and thus, their reputation) on it.

Can you please remove Alexandra Shapiro (CMO) from the Key People List. She has left the company. Alyssa Nectar PR (talk) 17:46, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Requested move to Fin

[edit]

I propose moving this article from Intercom, Inc. to Fin following the company's May 2026 rebrand announcement.

The rebrand has been reported by reliable secondary sources, including Business Post, and the company has publicly adopted the Fin branding. The Intercom name appears to continue as a product/platform name rather than the company name.
