– Per WP:PLURAL and WP:CONSISTENT with other Pride flags. --MikutoH talk! 18:47, 23 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose: I think the plurals better reflect the contents of both articles, which are about many flags, not one. Singularizing would probably not be helpful in this case. Thanks, 1isall (he/him) (talk | contribs) 19:28, 23 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment: WP:PLURAL / WP:SINGULAR have a specific exception for classes of things. A singular title might imply that there is one particular primary flag. But the consistency aspect seems worth considering. — BarrelProof (talk) 20:01, 23 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Using plurals makes more sense as multiple flags are described. Historyday01 (talk) 22:14, 23 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose while I understand your reasoning, the article for Lesbian flags says No single design for a lesbian-pride flag has been widely adopted. Likewise, the Gay men's flags article states Various pride flags have been used to symbolize gay men and lists numerous flags as opposed to focusing on one definitive flag, if that makes sense - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 15:32, 24 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Targets are lists of multiple. There is no "one" flag. Plural titles are appropriate. Steel1943 (talk) 02:41, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. There is not one, single gay men's flag — there are a variety of flags which are specific to the gay male subculture. There is also more than one flag representing the lesbian community (the flag invented in 2018 is not the only flag preferred by lesbians). The plural titles are accurate. One "subculture" is represented.

[edit]

The only subculture represented in the "Subcultures" section is 'bear'.

I think this section should probably be removed, as the article on pride flags already covers a vast number of variants--especially considering most of these subcultures are not exclusive to gay men - including bear--there's no need to exclude bisexuals.

It can be there as a related topic, but it's already covered in Pride flag. Originally, it included twink flag and otter flag, which were removed as sourceless at that time. It should be commented that rainbow, especially some specific versions, include other people besides gay men. Dudzcar (talk) 06:24, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
