Łabunie ([waˈbuɲɛ]) is a village in Zamość County, Lublin Voivodeship, in southeastern Poland.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Łabunie.

History

Nine Polish citizens were murdered by Nazi Germany in the village during World War II.[2]

Sights

The landmarks of Łabunie are the Baroque Zamoyski Palace complex with an adjacent park, and the Our Lady of the Scapular church.

Sports

The local football club is Sparta Łabunie.[3] It competes in the lower leagues.
