[edit]- Art Price[1]. A well-known publication and website which provides information about prices and auctions involving artworks.
- culturebase.net - The international artist database[2]. A database of artists and institutions with articles signed by researchers. The project was created in 2007 and it is not updated but it features international renewed artists.
Specialized press
[edit]Contemporary art is rarely published on scholar journals and it is mainly documented on publications and specialized journals and magazines. Publications which a more national focus are listened below by continent and country. Here is a list of the most well-know international publications.

Exhibitions
[edit]Exhibitions are a main source for contemporary art; they are documented in specific publications (catalogues) and they represent the system through which artists are selected and acknowledged. Documenta and Venice Biennale.
