• These usernames particularly the first make me think this could be User:DickyRobert (see above). Not hitting his typical articles but similar usernames.  ALKIVAR™ 02:33, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
• User:King Dickie Roberta and User:William Henry Gates are obvious DickyRobert sockpuppets, there is no doubt of that. The others are likely puppets as well, but am awaiting the CheckUser results to be sure. Should a longer ban be placed on the 142.150.0.0/16 IP range? Hall Monitor 19:52, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
  • All of the above users (and a few others not mentioned) are using Sympatico (Bell Canada) IPs, not UToronto IPs. They do all appear to be the same person, and given that Sympatico's service area includes Toronto these are probably the same person. IP range is 70.48.0.0/16 (subranges used are 70.48.100.0/22 and 70.48.248.0/22). Kelly Martin (talk) 12:44, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

DickyRobert (talk · contribs)

• Going on several months now, a vandal known only as "User:DickyRobert" has been spamming and vandalising Wikipedia articles, as well as stalking, harassing, and otherwise making threats toward other editors (and administrators). Yesterday I marked over 112 registered accounts as sockpuppets of this person. If someone would work some of their CheckUser magic so that we may determine which ISP(s) are being used in order to put a halt to this ongoing problem it would be greatly appreciated. It appears that User:Sjakkalle has placed a range block on 142.150.204.0/23. Is this case now considered to be closed, or are you still working your way through the other 108 registered accounts to determine if other service providers are being used as well? I would consider this one to still be under investigation. I did place a 4 hour block on 142.150.0.0/16 earlier because of related vandalism, but I haven't chased all of the many usernames involved down yet. Kelly Martin (talk) 05:03, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Can we block this vandal's host and autofilter the urlcut.com domain? Its another one of those TinyURL-type services, and is being used by DickyRobert and friends to redirect to some GNAA site. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 10:02, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

On the first point, unfortunately he uses dynamic IPs from a provider from which a large number of productive Wikipedia users (including one Arbcom member) edit. —Matthew Brown (T:C) 18:33, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
