- Delete The article does a poor job in presenting why Mr. Spelman was a notable composer, and its sourcing is extremely thin.TH1980 (talk) 04:15, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Keep as creator. He warrants an entry in Baker's Biographical Dictionary of Musicians, reproduced here. I will expand when I have the chance. Also, I would like to note that I am the creator of this article and I was not notified that it was up for deletion, which I believe is proper process. Edited to add: I just checked The New Grove Dictionary of American Music, and he's in there, too. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 20:37, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Keep per the sources indicated by Ser Amantio Di Nicolao, which demonstrate notability. Mccapra (talk) 04:31, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Comment I have now expanded the article per the sources listed. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 17:48, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
