I can't find anywhere where Nogai Khan is spelled Nohai (and if it does mean "dog" in Mongolian, why would anybody be named that?), while the second entry in this alleged dab page is a partial match that isn't mentioned in the linked article. Clarityfiend (talk) 12:22, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

- Keep in some form. I've added a Romanian footballer Florin Nohai. The article Mongolian_names says "One finds a number of degrading or inauspicious names during the 13–14th centuries such as Sorqaqtani, "Pox girl", or Nohai (~Nokai) "dog", in an attempt to fool bad spirits or disease into thinking it had already afflicted them." to answer "Why would anybody be named that". The article Nogai Khan lists Nohai as an alternative spelling. Whether it's a name page or a dab page it needs to exist. PamD 07:49, 10 August 2026 (UTC)
