Trhovište (Hungarian: Vásárhely) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1220 as Vasarhel.
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 132 metres (433 ft)[2] and covers an area of 12.56 km2 (4.85 sq mi) (2025).[4]
