Template:WikiProject North America/doc

This talk page template is used at the top of talk pages of pages within the scope of WikiProject North America.

Usage

To tag an article

Place either

{{WikiProject banner shell|class=|
{{WikiProject North America}}
}}

or

{{WikiProject banner shell|class=|
{{WikiProject North America|importance=}}
}}

at the top of the talk page.

To assess article

1. Fill in the template at the top of the page with the relevant assessment slots. If the template is {{WikiProject North America}}, you can add the other sections, so that it looks like {{WikiProject North America|importance= }}.
2. Where it says "class=", fill out the proper class.

   If you do not feel comfortable deciding on the classes, you don't have to. You can leave the section blank.

3. Where it says "importance=" fill out the proper level of importance. They are Top, High, Mid, Low, Bottom and NA.

   Redirects, Disambiguation pages, and Templates, do not get rated for importance. If the page in question is one of these things, leave the importance section blank.

   If you do not feel comfortable deciding on the importance, you don't have to. You can leave the section blank.

• class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid |class= values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment.
• needs-image – set |needs-image=yes to request that a picture or pictures be included in the article to improve its quality.
  • This parameter populates Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in North America.
