This regional WikiProject user template creates a userbox that indicates that you actively participate in WikiProject California.
To join WikiProject California, add your username to Wikipedia:WikiProject California/Participants.

Use

If you place the Wikitext {{User WP California}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:

This user participates in
WikiProject California.

If you place the Wikitext {{User WP California|invite}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:

This user invites you to join
WikiProject California.

Either of these will add your user page to the following two categories:

• Category:WikiProject California participants
• Category:Wikipedians interested in California

A nocat=true parameter may be used to inhibit the declaration of these categories.
