Template:Pali Commentaries/doc

Template:Pali Commentaries displays the post-canonical texts, commentaries, and other Pāli literature in a collapsible sidebar, based on the arrangement of the Sixth Buddhist Council. It serves as a companion to the main Template:Pali Canon.

Simply insert:

Parameters

  • |1=, |2=, |3=, |expand=, |expanded= – controls which section(s) are expanded when the page loads. Multiple parameters or positional parameters can be used simultaneously to expand more than one section. Supported values:
    • atthakatha – expands the Aṭṭhakathā (Commentaries) section.
    • tika – expands the Ṭīkā and Anuṭīkā (Sub-commentaries) section.
    • anna – expands the Añña (Miscellaneous Pāli literature) section.
    • If omitted, all sections are collapsed by default.

  • {{Pali Commentaries|atthakatha|tika}} → opens both the Aṭṭhakathā and Ṭīkā sections simultaneously.
