To add this template to an article, use {{Christianity sidebar}}. It will then appear in the article as shown on the right.
Collapsible groups and sections option
- This template includes collapsible groups/sections. When it first appears, one of these groups/sections may be set to be visible ("expanded") while the others remain hidden ("collapsed") apart from their titlebars. To achieve this, include the parameter
|namewhere name is one of the following words that identify the groups/sections (omit any speech or quotation marks): - Jesus
- foundations
- theology
- history
- groupings
- related
- all
- For example:

The cross icon next to the portal link at the bottom of the template may be replaced with an ichthys (Christian fish) icon by adding the parameter |portalicon=ichthys (i.e. {{Christianity sidebar|portalicon=ichthys}}). When an expanded section, such as |foundations, is also set, then the code is {{Christianity sidebar|foundations|portalicon=ichthys}} .
