This template generates an external link to the French Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) for a specific airport. These links change every 28 days and the template calculates the correct URL based on the current date.
Airports in France

- (unnamed) – airport's ICAO location indicator, e.g. LFMN
- name (optional) – airport's location, e.g. NICE COTE D'AZUR (as shown in the AIP). Most airports show two locations: the first is the city served, second is the city where the airport is located.
Short version (used in airport lists):

Technical information
[edit]The AIP is updated on a 28-day cycle as per the ICAO. For the online version of the French AIPs this causes a change in the URL involving the AIRAC effective date formatted as YYYY-MM-DD. This template uses the current date (presently 2 Aug 2026) to calculate the effective date. The following is a list for the current and upcoming AIRAC cycles:

- 2026-09-03 — effective 03 Sep 2026 (AIRAC cycle 2610)

- 2026-10-29 — effective 29 Oct 2026 (AIRAC cycle 2612)
- 2026-11-26 — effective 26 Nov 2026 (AIRAC cycle 2613)
