Wikiproject Prisons

Location
[edit]I've put the {{coord}} template on the east side of Wood St towards the bottom. The best I can do for the location is that it was on the east side, out of sight of the street behind some houses, between St Peters and St Michaels Was Mitre Court the original access street? The satellite pics show that block being redeveloped, was there archaeology done as part of the planning process?82.3.241.225 (talk) 17:17, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- Having unearthed the summary of the dig at One Wood St, it seems it must have been just north of Mitre Court - or it was on the site of the wine cellars but they ripped out everything before letting their wine near two-centuries-worth of prisoner detritus!!!! 82.3.241.225 (talk) 20:17, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
