It seems as if Robert Walpole lived on this ground before Wimbourne House was built, from 1716 to 1742, when he bought No. 5 on the opposite side – accord to this publication and Horace Walpole's letter (p. 62–63). --Missyfox (talk) 00:51, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
