User:Billmeguire The map reminds me of the Oakwood Plantation land in southern Jefferson County...just north of Sesslertown on the Old Natchez Trace. At the bureau of land management website, a plot shaped like that has Abijah Hunt's name in about the same spot, and William G. Forman's name in about the same spot. It would have passed from Abijah to David to Mary Ann, or have been bought by David Hunt from William at some point probably. However, I could be wrong, since the map is listed in Adams County. D. Ferguson would probably be some of David Ferguson's land. He is connected with Mount Locust Inn/Plantation on the Old Natchez Trace, which would be to the north of that land if it is in southern Jefferson County. I guess there isn't enough information yet to tell for sure if the map is of the Oakwood Plantation land.
