Alsop would try to relax as much as possible on weekends and also took a month off in the summer to go painting in Majorca with his friend Bruce McLean. Alsop enjoyed smoking and drinking. He was, according to an April 2007 article in The Observer, "obviously not a man familiar with gyms".

There's a lot of material like that in the newspaper article. Maybe you should address the question to Lynn Barber and The Observer! From my knowledge, Alsop is known as a 'bon viveur' and has a very recognisable appearance, so it seems to be a valid description. Sionk (talk) 21:49, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
