Edit request: source the Personal life section

[edit]

I am Watt Key, the subject of this article, so I'm requesting this change here rather than editing the article myself.

The Personal life section has carried BLP unreferenced section since October 2021. I propose replacing the whole section with the text below. Every statement now has an independent or WP:ABOUTSELF source, and the claims I couldn't find published sources for (high school, MBA, age at first sale, number of children) have been dropped. Please remove the maintenance tag once the section is replaced.

Personal life
Key grew up in Point Clear, Alabama, on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Birmingham–Southern College. In his twenties he worked as a computer programmer, and he was running a computer consulting business in Mobile when Farrar, Straus and Giroux published Alabama Moon, the ninth novel he had written.
