Telegraph obituary of Garry Watson
[edit]To record this in a talk page thread, the Telegraph posted an obituary of Garry in June 2026 (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2026/06/02/garry-watson-silent-film-child-actor-died-obituary/) but subsequently retracted it, with no reason given. Accessing it today gives the 404 message "Sorry, page not found. Perhaps this page has been moved or the URL has been mistyped."
Yahoo mirrored it at the time and neglected to take it back down when it was retracted. As a simple mirroring error, we can't use that as a source for his death, or even to say that "some sources claim" he died that month. It may just have been published early, by accident, for a few hours. Belbury (talk) 08:53, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
