Release date

[edit]

A lot of sources list this as a 1965 film, but it's hard to reconcile that with the fact that it includes photographs published in 1966. Suárez 2024 indicates that the film's premiere was as part of the 1967 Snows performance, so I'm going to use that as the release date and assume the other sources using 1965/1966 are talking about when the film was produced, as happens with a lot of writings about Schneemann's work. If anyone finds something more definitive, please go ahead and change it. hinnk (talk) 06:44, 20 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

  • Source: Women's Experimental Cinema: Critical Frameworks: "During the performance, the audience, unaware of their contribution, controlled the electronics, the slide projectors, and film projectors so that they could speed up or slow down the images depending on how they were responding to the graphic horror."

  • Article created within seven days before its DYK nomination (20 June). It is long enough (4586 characters), well-written, sourced, no copyvios seen (10.7%). The hook is interesting and sourced. Damian Vo (talk) 07:15, 25 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
