The spelling Vapniarka appears in the 1990 edition of Encyclopedia of the Holocaust, but according to the gazetteer Where Once We Walked and the geographic search engine of JewishGen, other variants include Vapniarca (in Romanian), Vapnyarka, Wapnjarka, Wapniarka. -- Deborahjay (talk) 08:16, 15 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good point. I just want to add: "Vapniarca" was probably the standard in Romania during WWII (for obscure reasons), but more recent Romanian apparently uses Vapniarka much more intensely. Dahn (talk) 13:17, 15 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is a very detailed entry that includes no citation of sources for the information. Where do these specific dates, numbers and names come from? This needs to be documented to meet Wikipedia standards. 69.125.134.86 (talk) 14:25, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
