Page move
[edit]The official name of the party has been changed from "Trinamool Congress" to "All India Trinamool Congress". The Wikipedia article page should reflect that. Kalpesh Manna 2002 (talk) 10:47, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Wikipedia doesn't follow official name, but another concept of COMMON NAME. Such as India's article is named as India not "Republic of India", the official name. You can request page move for controversial moves. PhantomVorteX (Talk) 13:00, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

TMC Rebels have named Arup Roy as Chairperson.
[edit]TMC Rebels have named Arup Roy as Chairperson. This marks a break in Organisation between factions. Now what? Should we reflect that? Etheir the MLA's should be adjusted or Chairperson adjusted. Mayukh Mitra 123 (talk) 20:32, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
Trinamool Congress vs All India Trinamool Congress
[edit]Since numerous editors are repeatedly changing "Trinamool Congress" to the official name "All India Trinamool Congress", thus forcing redirects, I propose to start a discussion on whether to shift the contents of Trinamool Congress to All India Trinamool Congress or, retain it, thereby barring editors from writing "All India" to prevent redirects. In my opinion, since the official abbreviation as it appears on Election Commission and Wikipedia is "AITC", shifting to All India Trinamool Congress makes much more sense. Trinamool Congress is an unofficial name and so is the abbreviation "TMC". We must reach a consensus so that no unwanted edit warrings take place. Tagging other editors for their opinion. @Kalpesh Manna 2002 @XYZ 250706 @Dhruv edits FlyJet777 (talk) 10:04, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
