Jennifer Davis/Grace Phillips

[edit]

https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Toy_Story#Cast

Who are Jennifer Davis and Grace Phillips? Andy's mom's name was never mentioned or implicitly stated in the movie. Nor was Sid's mom's name. So why are there names assigned to those characters in the wikiquote article I linked above? 😐😕

The 30th Anniversary Re-release

[edit]

Should we add it? Ryanisgreat4444 (talk) 18:51, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I don't see how it's as significant as the other re-releases mentioned in the article, so I'd say no for now. Signed, SleepyRedHair. (talk - contribs) 19:13, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Last year, I added one for The Lion King. Since the box office numbers have been reported, I decided to add it to the page. PrinceArchelaus (talk) 20:43, 15 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Under PRODUCTION and CASTING, Please remove the last paragraph, "Toy Story was both Hanks' and Allen's first animated film, and they recorded their lines together to make their characters' chemistry and interactions realistic.[48]" This was clearly posted in response to a confusingly edited and captioned Instagram video. After watching a YouTube video on the making of Toy Story and reading this "source 48" I don't believe this entry is true. Thanks. 24.72.108.130 (talk) 03:32, 22 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

I removed the bit about chemistry which was added in 2019 without any new citation to support it.
Thanks for the note. Binksternet (talk) 04:09, 22 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
