If any of you had bothered to read the sources (all of which are very biased btw) you would see that there is a lot of accusation, but no EVIDENCE. It is a bit crystalbally; but information from the Kharkiv police seems to suggest the "Titushky-tactics" are back in Ukraine....

You got it upside down. The text is about the harassment of Opposition Bloc by "young men in balaklavas". You were probably confused with the following phrases:

• ref1 "Молодые люди, которые принимали участие в митинге в поддержку 'Оппозиционного блока'"
• ref2: "Именно поэтому в харьковском офисе Партии регионов, сменившей лишь вывеску на фасаде здания, милицией обнаружены 49 спортивного вида и телосложения молодых людей – кстати, почти 30 из них вовсе не харьковчане, а жители других областей. Что делали иногородние бойцы в этом здании? Неужели защищали интересы харьковчан? "

Both being examples of sloppy writing. If you read more carefully, you will read, e.g,

• коло 50 молодых людей в балаклавах загнали в здание по ул.Скрипника, 4 (офис Партии регионов и общественная приемная народного депутата от "Оппозиционного блока" Михаила Добкина) несколько десятков мужчин, предположительно сторонников "Оппозиционного блока". Из здания и с улицы были слышны выстрелы. Парни в балаклавах разбили окна в здании,

Recent use of Titushky in Poland

"Provocateurs"? How much? Government, really? It is not TVN talk show here... Mixing Titushky with this poor case it's a political propaganda on Wikipedia. Simonz (talk) 21:31, 3 February 2025 (UTC)

"Similar groups" section

In "similar groups" section, various different countries are cited as "employing groups similar to Titushkys" even before the term was created in some cases: Poland, Soviet Union, Georgia and Serbia. However, it is not clear based on what principles are these examples even provided. I am more than sure that the use of hired thugs and agent-provocateurs for the similar purposes as Titushkys is way too common and old practice in history which probably dates back even centuries ago. It is not a new invention. I am sure Western countries can also be included in "similar groups" section and the examples can be found either in present or history. Therefore, it is totally unclear based on what are the countries in the "similar group" section even selected, especially considering that some of the cited examples are older than the term "Titushkys" itself. Thus, the "similar groups" section should be removed and the term "Titushkys" should be used as a Ukrainian term for the Ukrainian case, as is its purpose. Rutdam (talk) 11:06, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

At least in Georgia Titushky is valid term and is used widely. There is no justification for completely deleting this information. I don't have opinion about other countries so can't help.--LeontinaVarlamonva (talk) 23:59, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
