[edit]@User:~2025-34823-86: Wondered when you would show up, since the description of Sex Matters (advocacy group) as anti-transgender does in fact, have a citation. In the first six words of the article, no less. Aside from that, and before I report recent activity here, I have a question. Why are you among four separate anonymous editors, who have taken it upon themselves to repeatedly edit this obscure article in the past ten days, including to edit war on this same subject? Why has one of said anon accounts already been blocked for edit warring, while repeatedly arguing with different, established editors over this subject? Iostn (talk) 14:48, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- It does not matter what the sex matters article says. What matters is how reliable sources describe Tim Allan and until you provide solid sources describing him him as an individual a transgender activist you cannot put him in that category. There is no evidence that this is defining. He's not described as such in the article. What we have here is a single sourced mention of him being involved in an organisation, and that pretty much in passing, it's not very a significant point in that source.
- Three of the anon accounts are me, that appears to be how the new system works. As it happens the blocked one isn't. You'll notice I'm sure that I've also removed all lot of the peacock puff fruit this individual as well. ~2025-34823-86 (talk) 15:06, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- Clearly not supported by sources. I have warned Iostn to stop adding it. SmartSE (talk) 15:24, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Smartse I can read this here, you know. Iostn (talk) 15:55, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- Your source does not mention the subject at all. You can't take one source saying one thing (sex matters is anti-transgender), another source saying another thing (Allan was a trustee of sex matters) and draw a conclusion from the two (allan is an anti-transgender activist). That's classic WP:SYNTH. SmartSE (talk) 16:12, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- I will tell you this only once more. Please stop responding in two separate places. Iostn (talk) 16:15, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- Update: interesting. Doubt I will receive an apology, however. Iostn (talk) 12:43, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
- Someone didn't read WP:BRV properly and reintroduced a BLOP violation. SmartSE (talk) 15:07, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
- I was more refering to your condescension/assumption of bad faith towards me when I assumed sockpuppetry was going on and responded as such, something I have been vindicated on, but hey, go off king. :v Iostn (talk) 08:47, 6 January 2026 (UTC)

- @Iostn @Tataral @Smartse The opposition to Tataral's edit (which moved its location) was block/ban evasion by FMSky. To address any BLP concern I've also changed "anti-transgender activist" to "former board member of". If there's a discussion to be had about placement feel free to have it, but I don't see why this is less relevant than a consultancy firm. BlackVulcanX (talk) 04:28, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- FWIW I would agree that "anti-transgender activist" should probably simply be a category rather than in the lede in those words because of WP:UNDUE Iostn (talk) 08:50, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- For the lead I've changed it to "former board member of". I'd guess the category is a separate discussion.
- I don't necessarily oppose the category though. Looking at the sources, in his own words Tim Allan was very looped into the social issues, and became a board member for that reason. BlackVulcanX (talk) 13:40, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
