I think there might be two Thomas Wyer's in St Andrews at the time, this quite clearly lists the Thomas Wyer who married the daughter of Jeremiah Pote as living 1744-1824 and being Charlotte County's first sheriff. Fundy Isles Historian - J (talk) 00:50, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
