these weren’t stop welded
[edit]it’s clear from the photos that these are not spot welded. spot welding, as the wikipedia explains is for overlapping sheets. these sheets are not overlapping and were probably mig welded at a point - a spot of material.
i’ve checked both the sources and indeed they say “spot welded” but this was likely a miscommunication that the welds were a spot of metal. the actual technique was likely mig welding or something similar Operator.Name (talk) 20:03, 11 September 2026 (UTC)
