I dispute this statement and thus have placed a "citation needed" tag. Although the two cities have not amalgamated, the use of the term The Battlefords is used in official venues such as road signs, maps, etc. That places it one level above a mere location nickname. 68.146.80.110 (talk) 03:25, 25 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
