It was proposed in this section that Tayyib be renamed and movedsomewhere else, with the name being decided below.
result: Procedural close. As noted below, this is the incorrect venue for restoring the dab page. This does appear to be the consensus seen below, so the dab page is to be restored at this title. Future discussions can be either informal on this page, or formal at WP:AfD. Tayyib →? – If you look at there is a disambiguation page here. This was reverted because it was the incorrect title. Instead, where should this disambiguation page be located? I think it should stay at its current location, since that seems to be what is most common per this ngramSahib-e-Qiran, EasternShah 04:33, 2 April 2026 (UTC) —Relisting.TarnishedPathtalk08:49, 9 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Semi-support. If there are several with this same name and no clear WP:PRIMARY a DAB sounds like a great idea. I oppose total merger of all spellings because some are people and others are not, and WP DAB pages have different tags and categorizations for those different types of topics. For example, Tayeb is formatted for anthronomy and has a "For places named "Tayeb" or any of its variations, see Taybeh (disambiguation)." pointing to non-anthro on a separate page. Comment. If you're proposing changing this redirect to a disambiguation page (or creating a separate DAB page at a different title), that doesn't require a move of any kind, and therefore should not use the requested move template. {{GearsDatapacks|talk|contribs}}17:03, 8 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Support restoring the dab page at Tayyib per WP:COMMONNAME. The word tayyib and its feminine tayyiba (or “taybeh”) are originally just adjectives, so there is no reason to limit either dab page to anthroponyms or toponyms per se. Since there are women named Tayyiba (e.g. Tayyiba Haneef-Park, Taiba al-Mawali, Tayyibe Gülek), the given name Tayyiba/Taiba/Tayyibe should also be mentioned in the dab page Taybeh – which I think should be renamed Tayyiba, per WP:COMMONNAME (see Ngram) and WP:CONSISTENCY with Tayyib. And since we’re having a specific dab page for this feminine form (Tayyiba), I think all the places named Tayyiba (or its variants) should go there.
