Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented.

Hi! Taylor Farms is a client of my employer, Porter Novelli. I'd like to request one change to this article: In "Food safety recalls", update

On October 25, 2024, Taylor Farms announced a recall after it was identified as the source of an E. Coli outbreak stemming from raw onions consumed at McDonald's that were sourced from the company.^[1]

to

On October 22, 2024, Taylor Farms announced a recall of yellow onions; an FDA report in December 2024 identified Taylor Farms as a "likely source" of an E. coli outbreak connected to raw onions sourced from the company and consumed at McDonald's.^[2]

The October 25 date isn't verified by the NBC source and is inaccurate. The original text also confuses the timeline a bit and claims that Taylor Farms was definitively identified as the source, which is not the case, per the FDA.^[3] (The original NBC source also uses the phrase "likely source".) I added a source that conveys this accurately.
