I am assyrian and speak Aramaic, the word is the feminine for asleep or sleepi ng depending on hiw you phrase a senrence. The masculine version used for boys or nen is tilyar the t pronounced as a t sounding d, a blend of both letters, which the English language does not have instead of tleethar whuch is used in the case of a girl or woman.
