Tae-yeon (name) → Tae-yeon – Unnecessary disambiguation. "Tae-yeon" currently redirects to Taeyeon. However, in general usage, the subject of that article is not known as "Tae-yeon", with the hyphen. When referred to mononomously, she is universally referred to as "Taeyeon", with no hyphen.
The pageview stats for the redirect shows the article "Taeyeon" was accessed with the "Tae-yeon" redirect very infrequently, averaging around 0.5 uses per day. Likely best to eliminate the unused redirect and unnecessary disambiguator on the name article.
There is past precedent for leaving the hyphenated name article at the root, while also having another article using the unhyphenated mononym. See: Jimin and Ji-min, Soyeon and So-yeon, Miyeon and Mi-yeon, Jisoo and Ji-soo, Taemin and Tae-min, Sooyoung and Soo-young, etc. RachelTensions (talk) 01:30, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
