@Arminden: Zoom in, it has "Jaffa" written on it. It looks to me that its still the same building in Lincoln St, Tel-Aviv. Zero^talk 01:16, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

Yep, thanks. Totally misleading. On Google Maps just a few 100 m from "Lev HaIr", 'the heart of the city', and that city is Tel Aviv, not Jaffa. Arminden (talk) 18:04, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

@Arminden: Nope. I have it on a 1930 map that shows the municipal boundaries. It was right next the boundary between Tel-Aviv and Sarona, on the Sarona side. Zero^talk 11:24, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

OK, thank you, good to know. But from all I know, Sarona wasn't part of Jaffa, unlike the American-German Colony. Unless the Ottoman or British admin. decided otherwise (which is always possible). Arminden (talk) 15:48, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Right, Sarona wasn't part of Jaffa then. Later, I'm not sure. Informally, however, nearby places including Sarona itself were said to be in Jaffa even if it wasn't legally the case. Zero^talk 01:38, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
