Misinformation

The company is not based in Netherlands as stated, but in Lithuania, as well as majority of its staff: https://www.linkedin.com/company/surfshark/about/ I am not going to speculate about the causes of this misinformation, but I would kindly ask Wikipedia community to pay closer attention to the fact-checking on this page, as well as to the other contributions of the users who added the misleading information. As there is a lot of private data involved in the traffic handled by such software, it is of the utmost importance to know the origins of the headquarters, and especially the reasons for this information to be tampered with. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.131.4.145 (talk) 22:09, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Citation Mismatch

The edit made at Revision 07:32, 14 October 2024 (diff) on this article introduced several citation issues in the History section. For example, the statement:

“In mid-2021, Surfshark began the process of merging with Nord Security, the parent company of the popular NordVPN. The merger was finalized in early 2022, with both brands continuing to operate independently.”

should have cited the source “Nord Security joins forces with Surfshark” rather than “Surfshark scraps hard disks & is now 100% RAM in its VPN servers.”
