Afroman
[edit]Whoever recently added the Afroman stuff needs to source it to this topic or it needs to be removed. I like to saw logs! (talk) 21:52, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- I've removed this. I'm not sure that it meets WP:DUE for this article, but it could be added at List of Streisand effect examples.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 14:46, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- Could you please clarify what you mean by sourcing it to this topic? It looks like the NPR citation that was provided specifically mentions the Streisand Effect, and searching the web yields other sources that mention it as well. Alpacaaviator (talk) 04:14, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
- The article isn't intended to be a comprehensive list, which is why the article List of Streisand effect examples was created, as the list was getting unwieldy. Also, there seem to be problems with WP:DUE because this was not widely covered.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 07:17, 3 April 2026 (UTC)

Should Melania Trumps speech yesterday to camera protesting no involvement witg jeffrey Epstein be added as an example? ~2026-22133-59 (talk) 08:14, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- This would need reliable sourcing that referred to the effect by name.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:19, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- Also, even if you did have such a reliable source, this article isn't intended to be an exhaustive list. It might be more appropriate in list of Streisand effect examples. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 03:30, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
