There is a gap in the chronology. "In the late 1980s ... Stop & Shop was sold at public offering." Then suddenly we see an entirely new name with no evident connection to Stop & Shop: "In 1994, Giant-Landover began northern expansion ... During 2005, the newly formed Stop & Shop/Giant ...", again with no prior mention of this formation and no explanation of why it was formed. Zaslav (talk) 10:38, 17 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
