Steve Christou Image

[edit]

The Image that was on this page has been deleted. I am the rightful owner of this image and kindly ask that it be reinstated on this page. Ancient Trojan (talk) 00:15, 18 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

As seen on Wikipedia Commons it was deleted for copyright reasons, if you're the owner of this image you need to provide some sort of proof (such as the original photo with its metadata) Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 00:58, 18 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
I am not sure why you keep targeting this page. Every time there is an edit to this page you seem to log on and trim this page more. I am not sure how this page affects you. One is forming the opinion that you might be a member of a rival political party? It needs to stop. Ancient Trojan (talk) 18:53, 25 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm not a member of any political party, I just want to ensure all pages are written well. As @Qwerty123M said on this Talk page, there needs to be proof you created the image and there isn't any of that, all you need to do is upload the metadata but otherwise it's a copyright violation. Is the image in the infobox on this page under a copyright that has not been obtained by the supposed author? I see minimal details on the Wikimedia Commons entry for the image, so no date which is an important detail to include in a caption. It also looks a lot like the one on Cumberland City Council's website, just that Christou is wearing a different coloured suit. Qwerty123M (talk) 07:37, 14 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

The image in the info box is not the same as on Cumberland City Council website. The image has been obtained and released as per the appropriate guidelines Ancient Trojan (talk) 05:07, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
I know the image isn't the same as is currently displayed on the page but it looks very similar, but can you prove you actually took the image such as by supplying metadata or simply a date on which you took the photo (which was the basis of my original question)? It looks too professional under that backdrop to be taken by you, unless you are council staff which would possibly constitute a conflict of interest @Totallynotarandomalt69, what is your opinion on this matter? I did a reverse image search and it came up on two news articles – I think checked Steve Christou’s Facebook account and he had it set as his profile picture on 28 December 2021
Would really need to see some metadata Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 05:21, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
