This is a good draft

I think that, considering the currently very high search relevance of this musician, an article is well-deserved, even if we don't yet know much about her life or long-term impact yet. In fact, it is nuts that an article for one of Lefty's songs was created before one for Lefty herself was.

Clearly you put in the elbow grease for sources. 41 articles is a lot! Especially for the 1st draft of an article. Most of these end up stubs at first. Most of your sources are reputable and independent of the artist.

You also have a very thorough and seemingly complete discography section prepared.

Changes I'd suggest right now:

• minor grammatic/word choice changes for formality (i.e. "dabbling" doesn't sound right for Wiki)
• She is from the village of Glencoe, on the far north side of Chicago, based on a source already referenced in your draft as [9].
• I would avoid relationship rumors. Even if the presence of a rumor is supported by a media outlet, it certainly feels a little sensationalist. It may not be necessary to discuss Lefty's personal life at this point if we don't know much about it. It's certainly not required for an article to be valid.

Other than these points, I think this draft is basically suitable for publishing, @Antrikshy. Nobody's soup (talk) 04:00, 13 June 2026 (UTC)

I do agree we should remove the relationship rumor. Someone likely added it because there's a corollary of it on Mason's article. I still don't see concrete evidence of acknowledgement of it from reliable sources.

Considering the rising notability, quality of the article with others' contributions, and your vote, I'll use my account status to skip the AfC draft review and move it to article space. @Launchballer and Jordano53: Does describing Lefty as a "billionaire's daughter" violate WP:DYKBLP (a sentence that might be due weight in the article can become undue if used in the hook, as all of the surrounding context of the individual's wider life is missing) since her father is mentioned only once in the article? Less an issue with it being negative as being undue in such a short hook. Do reliable sources indicate that she is primarily known for being a billionaire's daughter? The sources I looked at (except from some tabloidy gossip sources like this one) primarily describe her as a singer-songwriter, in which case making her primary identifier who her father is and how much money he has is undue. Sources describe her as a musician, which is covered by "had a US Top 20 single earlier this year", and BroBible appears to be a derivative of Uproxx, for which there is a weak consensus for reliability at WP:NPPSG. (One alternative would be ALT0a: ... that musician Stella Lefty (pictured), who had a US Top 20 single earlier this year, is the daughter of a billionaire?, but you can probably guess I'm going to say that punchier hooks get more clicks.) Hmm, I'm not sure whether we should include that. We usually treat the identity of low-profile family members of article subjects as a privacy interest, though being married to Eric Lefkosky does give her somewhat of a profile, so I'm not sure! Cheers, Endwise (talk) 01:50, 26 July 2026 (UTC)

I don't think she would be of sufficient profile if she was just but since she is cited as the president of the family foundation (https://www.uwalumni.com/news/liz-lefkofsky/) and a arts centre named after her (https://www.steppenwolf.org/education-community/teens-programs/the-loft) I am of the mind she has a plenty big enough profile to justify her inclusion, probably not big enough for her own page unless some news comes out about the family foundation.
