Chase Road site
[edit]The Chase Road site (formerly Oakwood school) was sold off in the early 90s and converted into a school called Wolfson Hillel. This was a voluntary aided primary school, not a private school. Annoyingly, despite searching in all the usual places (local newspapers, school websites, DfE database), I can't dig up a decent reference for this. For now I've elected simply to change "private school" to "primary school", as the fact that there were primary schools on Chase Road but no private schools can be proven if challenged.
