Suggestions for Editing

This article is in dire need of a proper clean up. The sentence structure is choppy and the overall quality is lacking. Many sources are either dead or behind a paywall. Much of the content is just copy and pasted news article titles with no substance. Although this article is marked "Low importance", I believe that the quality of this article is below the absolute minimum threshold that is acceptable on Wikipedia.
