Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Sleeping Queens. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Game mechanics vs. game theme

[edit]

While in the game players do use cards to "awaken sleeping queens", that's the theme of the game, the game mechanics is just the cards. How should Wikipedia handle game mechanics versus game themes? VidanaliK (talk to me) 16:38, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

I generally just include both game mechanics and game themes under the gameplay heading, but I know some users separate them into two headings. As far as I know, there's no standard for board game pages. Its a very good question so it might be worth bringing it to the main BTG Wikiproject talk page if you're interested in opening up the discussion. Salem Ander (talk) 06:44, 5 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
