I have a declared connection to the company and recently proposed several additions that were reverted.
The proposed additions related to:
- Sherry FitzGerald's 1999 stock market flotation and subsequent return to private ownership
- The company's role as a founding shareholder in MyHome.ie and the later sale of the portal to The Irish Times
- The history of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald, its rebranding as Cushman & Wakefield Ireland, and the subsequent sale of the commercial property business
- Brief mention of the Simon Brien Residential and Knight Frank Ireland acquisitions within the History section

3 I have a declared connection to the company and would like to propose the following addition to the History section. 4
5 Please add the following text after the paragraph discussing the development of the company's franchise network: 6
7 "In 1999, Sherry FitzGerald was listed on the Dublin and London stock exchanges as part of a flotation intended to support the company's nationwide expansion plans.[1] 8
9 The company subsequently returned to private ownership following a management buyout led by chief executive Mark FitzGerald.[2]" 10
11 Reason: 12
13 I believe this is a significant part of the company's corporate history and ownership structure and is supported by independent sources. 14
