Orphaned references in Sal Buscema

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sal Buscema's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I called the funeral home to verify his death. A Sal Buscema, of Virginia, did in fact die over the weekend. There isn't an obituary published yet. The funeral home was unable to verify his occupation. 50.222.147.82 (talk) 14:54, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Sal Buscema’s date of death

I’m Sal Buscema’s son and his date of death has been misreported all over the internet. It has been incorrectly listed as Friday, January 23, 2026 but the correct date is Saturday, January 24, 2026. I have attempted to correct it multiple times on this page but it continues to be changed back to the 23rd. Vaterator (talk) 12:05, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

I have now changed the info and added this source that contains a statement from the family. Hopefully this will prevent any further tampering with the death date. So unfortunate that someone outside the family could cause so much unnecessary trouble for the family in these sad times.
