This article is terribly incomplete (largely because the Prix Sade committee is incompetent at archival)

[edit]

This article is lacking a significant amount of information.

It holds no mention of the Prix Sade Photo ("Sade Prize Picture Award"), nor of the Prix Sade du Livre Censuré ("Sade Prize of Censored Books"), nor of the Prix Sade BD ("Sade Comics Prize"), among others. Its crediting of award winners outside of the actual Sade Prize is sporadic (it neglects to mention the winners for the "Jury Prize" since 2009, for one!). There is little information pertaining to the process of the decision committee, or how/where/when the event is actually hosted... This article is just generally too empty.

This is largely because the Sade Prix committee unfortunately archives most of its information not on any sort of dedicated website, but on Instagram and Facebook -- which is terrible for search engine discovery, and easy to miss. Especially since the posts are in French, and this is primarily an Anglophone wiki.

For example, a lot of information pertaining to their recent 2025 awards is basically only archived in the follow Instagram post, with no other way to find it otherwise. - https://www.instagram.com/p/DPaCC3fimfl/

I understand that this is an article of low importance, and that the prix Sade isnt exactly the most prestigious award out there, but I feel that this terrible quality of archive is unfortunate. If theres some Wikipedia editor who views it necessary and worthwhile to update this page thoroughly, that'd be fantastic. Honestly, I'd do it myself, but I have 0 experience with this sort of business and dont want to mess anything up. I'm just making this post so as to warn the editors.

Thank you. ~2026-16538-54 (talk) 03:27, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
